Ok well.. heres this cute long sleeved bolero or shrug..whatever they're called! but i really like it. and no..the white shirt is NOT attatched to the shrug!! lol..ive seen that question asked before. It only took about 15 minutes to make..seeing as I only reconstructed. I hope you like it!

Oh, by the way, I also had to resize it first..so it took a bit longer to make!

2  My Assymetric Skirt. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by bananas on: May 30, 2005 10:29:19 AM
Hey. Today at lunch time I got together a sheet and some old striped material and put together a cute assymetric skirt! It's got a few glitches, but I am really happy with it because it is my first real sewing project! Before I did little things like maybe stitch up a skirt, etc. I am really happy with it! Comments and criticism welcome!

3  Some of my work..I'm so lazy and they were so easy to make.. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by bananas on: May 27, 2005 07:23:41 AM
Here is some of my work..I know, it's really simple, but I don't have a sewing machine right now, so my mom said she'd buy me one and then i could get to work like cRaZ-aY! Anyways, here are some pics..

cool hand thing.. i made it out of an old sock, haha(forgot what their called)

wristband with an "s" for my name - this is out of a sock too and i just used fabric spray paint to decorate it

these were some old jeans that i decided to write all over..i thought it would be a neat idea and i really like how they turned out. right now i am working on fraying the bottom edges but sandpaper doesn't seem to be working..does anyone else have any ideas?

jeans - sideways view, sorry i cant change the angle on my computer

4  Another.. in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by bananas on: May 27, 2005 03:02:59 AM
Yes, it's me again. I have another shirt I want to re-construct also, its terribly boring and the sleeves are way too baggy. It's also got a red paint stain on the sleeve. (The back is just plain white)..

5  I have this shirt, but I don't know what to make out of it..can you help? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by bananas on: May 27, 2005 02:03:21 AM
I have this shirt, but I don't know what to make out of it..can you help? Any ideas or suggestions would be great..I just don't want to make it too elaborate or showy because I want to wear it to school - plus I don't have a sewing machine so if there is any sewing involved I will either have to hand-sew or go to my friends house to sew..Haha. Any suggestions?
