The Victorian ami doll is so pretty.  What did you use for her hair?

I actually bought the wig...I have tried making them myself anf I really just went the easy route and purchased it online.  Grin  She really just needed the real hair look to accomplish the look.

Sharalee, I am so happy you love her...I kept putting her down and adding a little as I looked at her, she definitely isn't what I started off making but I was actually happy with her when she was done.  But it is always concerning not not knowing if your partner will appreciate your work! SHe is now at the top of my list for my favorite projects completed....thanks for the inspiration!

I have the body complete but I am definitely having issues with the clothing!  I know what I want but it is hard to find patterns so I'm winging it...I'm not terribly great at "winging it" either?!  As long as Sharlee see my vision!

I received my patches from crazyda79 yesterday.  Thanks so much, she sent from three of my themes.  Dr. Who, Polka Dots, and the third is a mix of Black and white/ sewing & crafting.  These will make a great addition to the others.

Overplanner here, myself. But seeing all the wonderful patches here is helping to loosen me up. I did specific graphic arts for years, and my brain wants to stay in that zone. 90 degrees is supposed to measure a full 90 degrees. No variance, but these are fun, because even though they are squarish...they can kind of get a bit wonky. And you can always pull and twist and spray starch until they fit together.

I think that is the beauty of the patches is that everyone approaches them differently!  They are art in themselves.  I am a seamstress too and for me it was difficult at first but after a few swaps I have come to realise that perfection isn't the name of the game!  As for your back, I also still have issues with a sloppy back and try different things to get a neat appearance, I like your idea of a long tail and weaving it in....I think I'll try that next time.

Here are my patches from Fancybutch They are really great!!  My themes were polka dots and black and white.  They are both wonderful I really can't decide which one I like best, and the amazing glow in the dark thread, I can't wait for a chance to use it.....and I LOVE the fabric thanks for being an awesome swap partner!

Thanks Sharalee, I really loved doing all these patches!  I really never know how they are going to turn out until I start doing them and just kind of think of things as I go.  I have received from "Fancybutch" my patches are AMAZING and I will get some pics posted probably tomorrow.
