1  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Spidey Senses on: May 19, 2016 08:03:00 AM
Hi! I wanted to share with you my latest finish. It's a spidey quilt for a newborn but I made it larger so that it could be used for years. I have a feeling the father is going to steal it.

And here's a bit of a closer pic so you can see the super cuddly quilting I did on it. It's fresh out of the wash so it's perfectly wrinkly. The back is done in a blue plaid flannel. So soft I will have a hard time giving it away!

2  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Fire Flower Slots Quilt on: April 18, 2016 12:34:32 PM
Hi Guys, I just wanted to show off my newest finish - Fire Flower Slots. I call it that because the layout reminds me of a slot machine. The grass isn't quite green here yet but it's nice to not have snow in the background. I also made a couple of matching pillows.

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Sea Glass Quilt on: May 13, 2015 06:28:14 AM
Hi All, wanted to share with you my latest finish. This is using the pattern "Sea Glass" by Talk of the Town. I changed the colors and made it quite a bit larger. As a result of making it larger, I also doubled the size of the petals. This is a commission quilt for my family cottage.

4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / The Cosby quilt on: July 04, 2014 10:08:09 AM
Hi all, just finished this quilt for the Michael Miller fabric challenge. One of the fabrics in the collection just screamed "cosby sweater" to me so I went for it!

5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Megaman and Roll Pillows on: July 03, 2014 05:05:01 AM
Hi guys, wanted to share with you some pillows I made. They are megaman and his gf Roll. I think they turned out really well.

7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Duck Hunt! on: March 06, 2014 03:14:16 PM
Just finished up this quilt based on the Nintendo game Duck Hunt. It will be shown in an art gallery here in my city with a number of other retro nintendo items like posters and sculptures. I've blogged about it here: [url]http://candycoatedquilts.blogspot.ca/2014/03/gone-hunting.html/url]

8  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Quilt As You Go pillow on: February 13, 2014 10:47:45 AM
Hi all,
I went a little outside of my pixelated box with this one. We had a demonstration of Quilt As You Go at our last modern quilt guild meeting and I really wanted to try it. It turned out to be quite fun! Here's the pillow I made with some Kona scraps.

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Mario Kart Toad on: December 16, 2013 11:59:21 AM
Hi guys, here's a quilt I made for a friend's boyfriend for Christmas. It has Toad on the front in his Mario Kart car and a banana peel on the back. Not as in-depth as my previous pixel quilts but it's pretty cute anyway. Blogged: http://candycoatedquilts.blogspot.com/2013/12/so-shredder-is-on-hold-for-little-bit.html

10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Excitebike quilt on: September 22, 2013 11:16:06 AM
Just finished this up last night. It's toddler sized but no toddler in mind for it yet.
