5  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Quilt As You Go pillow on: February 13, 2014 10:47:45 AM
Hi all,
I went a little outside of my pixelated box with this one. We had a demonstration of Quilt As You Go at our last modern quilt guild meeting and I really wanted to try it. It turned out to be quite fun! Here's the pillow I made with some Kona scraps.

6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Mario Kart Toad on: December 16, 2013 11:59:21 AM
Hi guys, here's a quilt I made for a friend's boyfriend for Christmas. It has Toad on the front in his Mario Kart car and a banana peel on the back. Not as in-depth as my previous pixel quilts but it's pretty cute anyway. Blogged: http://candycoatedquilts.blogspot.com/2013/12/so-shredder-is-on-hold-for-little-bit.html

Wanted to show you my finally finished Captain Picard quilt. Made for a couple of very special trekkies for their wedding. It is queen sized, made with about 4500 2" squares. I started it in April and just finished it Friday - in time for the wedding rehearsal! Edit: Here is the link to my blog post about this!  http://candycoatedquilts.blogspot.ca/2013/08/oh-captain-my-captain.html
