Wise One, you are the Fairy Godmother of TM patches.

I will open signups for the next round over the weekend everyone. Stay tuned.
Nope.  SheepBlue still holds that title.  It will take quite a while to be able to pull that away from her...  if ever!  Cheesy

That being said... I'm gonna be first in line to sign up for the next round.  Setting my alarm clock for 5am.

Oh yeeeh!  What a treat to see a couple more.  Ooooh Noodle - you are a lucky one!
Robin - I never thought to use machine sewing.  Doh.  Why didn't I think of that?  My brain is racing with the possibilities.  I especially like the zig zag cutting showing at the bottom of the sea creature.  Again... Doh.  Why didn't I think of that?
Loooove them!  When's the next TM patch swap?  Heh Heh Heh.  You all are getting zig zags and machine sewing.  With more scraps!

GeekGirl - you are a lucky one!  I've been looking for a crafts meetup.  In my area, they're all canceled.  The only thing I can find active are quilting groups.
And yep!  It's all about finding things that represent me that my partner might want too.  I'm done with 6 so far.  2 more to go.  When's that deadline?

we have sunshine in Ireland...that is BIG news...so between that and my natural idolence..I will probably be sending at the deadline..unless inspiration strikes in the meantime!
Edel - I had to look idolence up.  Harha.  You can send me 8 fabric scrap'ums and I'd be thrilled!  I'm done with 3 of 8.  I live in the land of liberal and it's hard to remember to be politically correct.  I'm so uncorrect or is that incorrect?  I guess I can always go over and get some munnys from kidrobot for the local theme.  They're safe, or are they?

EdelC - you could post each and every one of your creations on that board 'More Art Less Craft'.  I love how you can take work in so many different mediums and make it work.

And the purple fabric with the black embroidery is actually Marc Jacobs fabric I had leftover
WoWOWow!  I know exactly what happening with this precious liddle scrap!  Jkaywiz, it's greatly appreciated.  As are your very creative patches.  This has been a great experience for me and from what I'm reading, everyone else too.

So I've been stalking my partner EdelC and I see on her pinterest page this 'I Love You' collage.  It's a bunch of letters in different fonts and colors cut out from magazines, newpapers, ads, etc.  Really neat.

I think to myself, that would be a great idea.  I can cut out all the letters and mail them as a DIY along with that modgepodge stuff.  It can be one of the eight little thingies for the first package.  It can represent me with my Reduce-Reuse-Recycle way of life.  Perfect, eh?  And I can make one for me too.

So I get my pile of papers and start cutting.  One hour later, I barely have enough letters for two lines.  Argh!  The husband is laughing at me, "I told you so."  I still have about 30 lines left.  That's another 15 hours of cutting, I'm guessing.  My fingers are hurting and so is my right foot.  My right foot?  What's going on with my right foot?  I look down and have a magazine staple sticking out of my right foot.  When was my last tetnus shot?

Let's just say that the REUSE has turned into RECYCLE.  I can't tell you how many of my projects end up this way  Roll Eyes

YEP!  Got my patches today from Johnny aka jkaywiz.  Yep yep yep!  I need one of those emoticons where the head bobbles around on the neck doing a happy dance.  Prepare yourself for more fun-ness.

It's a house and a crazy face.

Let's take a closer look at that house.  I think the backing is a blue jean's pocket!  LOVE IT!  And the layered triangle roof in four different silks could not have been easy.  Yowza.

And a closer look at Johnny's other patch.  Hey wait!  It's not a face yelling like Homer Simpson.  BAHAHAH!  I have it upside down!  It's a cute liddle dogwood tree with a happy cloud.

Hah!  I make myself laugh.  Also in the package are some bits of fabrics.  Insert another bobble head emoticon here.  They're just little scraps but to me, it means a whole bunch of patches with new fabrics.

My favorite is a quilter test scrap.  At least that's what I'm guessing?  Jkaywiz, I am so very thrilled to have these patches in my next project.  Lots of bobble heads here my dear.
