1  Pink Cupcake Purse <3 in Crochet: Completed Projects by DreamerOnCloud9 on: June 13, 2008 02:38:56 PM
<3!!
I've wanted to make a cupcake purse for so long and finally got around to making one! I will definitely be making more  Smiley I got the pattern from here: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=39446 great pattern.
What I did different is for the base(the cup part) I used two strands of the cream coloured yarn to hold the shape better; and for the frosting I followed the pattern until the last few rows where I did a few decreases, and instead of ending with dc I ended with sc & as for the tie, I just made one long chain sl st back to make a rope-like tie, then tied a little bow on the end.
I will be giving it to my 4yr old cousin for her birthday.  Smiley

Thanks to cynaluna's great post and chart http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=184231.0;topicseen I made one for myself  Smiley with just two differences(only one row of dc on the base chain, and picot sts are on the shells instead on on a new row)

It's nice as a headband:

or a scarf:

These photos show the red hue best:

The ends are just shells of 7tr

Inspired by vanillaxlight's modified FBB http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=85662.msg807598#msg807598 I came up with this:

a navy blue FBB with a white button closure

5  Little Fedora in Crochet: Completed Projects by DreamerOnCloud9 on: July 10, 2007 10:34:49 PM
So, this hat started out as a birthday present for a friend of mine who just turned 25. AND darnit I should have checked my gauge because the hat is really small!!  Sad Oh well, I'm sure it will look super cute on a little kid  Cheesy Also, I think it would look really good felted, so maybe next time I make an adult size one I'll make it in wool or something.

The pattern is, of course, from "Hip Hats and Cool Caps"  Smiley

In fuzzy beige yarn and navy blue

I'm going to do more in different colour combos  Smiley Thanks for the pattern!

7  turquoise bag in Crochet: Completed Projects by DreamerOnCloud9 on: June 18, 2007 10:39:57 PM
Made following the fashion first aid pattern in "The Happy Hooker"  Smiley using Red Heart Soft Touch. Then I just surface-crochet the tree. . .and then I couldn't decide if I should add anything else. So it'll stay like this unless I get inspired to add to it again. I was thinking maybe a bird. . or some flowers. . .but I don't know? I also need to line it because it stretched a bit after I put the book in there.

An idea of the size

thanks for looking  Smiley
