31  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / green tulip dress on: May 15, 2013 03:55:12 PM
Hi! It's summer here...and this is one of my favorite summer dresses, made of two burda magazine patterns.

Thanks for looking!
32  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Plaid dress with cap sleeves and pleated skirt on: May 03, 2013 11:10:53 AM
Hi!!! I made this last summer, but now it's a little tight .....maybe I ate too many chocolates during winter:)

33  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / blue satin dress with front drape on: April 29, 2013 01:34:47 PM
I made this two years ago for a baptism ceremony (in which I was the godmother of the child). It is a very simple dress (I was not at a sewing mood this period of time) but it has a draped piece at the front which adds interest and volume to the bust area.

I hope you like it!
34  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / mustard top and skirt on: April 27, 2013 02:49:24 PM
As usual I made a top and a skirt of the same fabric to give the look of a dress.
I'm not so sure that this colors looks nice on me....but it's much better when I pair it with more vibrant colors such as purple:

Hi all! Flounces are back!
Once again this is not a dress, it's a top (from a burda magazine pattern)  and a skirt (self drafted)

What do you think?
36  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / fuschia tulip dress on: April 23, 2013 01:08:33 PM
well, this is not exactly a dress ...... it is top and skirt made of the same fabric.

I hope  you like it!!!!
37  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / mint dress on: April 19, 2013 03:19:58 PM
This is made of stretch gabardine and guess what! It doesn't have a zipper!

Based on Danielle pattern from burdastyle. (And this one has a side zipper)

39  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Red off shoulder dress with gussets on: April 08, 2013 01:18:58 PM
This is made of strech gabardine. It has no zipper or any kind of fastening, I prefer to have a little hard time wearing the dress than to sew by hand the invisible zipper (I can't sew it with my sewing machine Embarrassed). Plus I live in a place of world where it's very difficult to find sewing notions, even sewing thread sometimes, so I didn't want to go out searching red zipper only to come back home with empty hands Sad)
The  bodice has gussets which gave me a really hard time. Except of this the dress was a very easy and fast project.

I hope you like it!!
40  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / yellow denim skirt on: April 05, 2013 04:18:07 PM
I made this skirt of yellow denim fabric which was not a good choice: as I moove or walk the double pleat opens and the thick fabric looks a bit weird. I would like to try this design in a more soft fabric and see what happens.
