1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Elivs has left the building, but left his hair behind! on: October 13, 2007 10:10:54 AM
Awesome felt wig!

And I have to ask, where did you get George? My art teacher has a skull just like him in her office!
2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Plain Black Converse to Punk Leopard Print Awesome-ness!!! on: September 04, 2007 07:28:03 PM
Nice! I did the same thing with a pair of low tops. Be careful with getting them wet though, the felt will start to get all linty.
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Show us your Photoshop and PSP art!!! on: December 13, 2006 06:37:27 PM
I love photoshop!

This image I made recently for my Gaia Online profile.

As you can probably tell, I love using brushes. Grin
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! And questions about hair styles! on: December 08, 2006 03:44:47 PM
I haven't posted in this thread in a loooong time, but here's what my hair looks like currently after I grew out my mohawk for about 3 months, dyed it black, grew it out some more, cut all of the black off, and dyed it an orangey-red color.  Grin

And just for fun, here's a picture of my brother and his fantastic hair. Look at it! There's so much of it!

5  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: New one-eyed creations on: November 29, 2006 05:59:23 PM

I love the Adicts! That is seriously kickass hoodie and you should rock it with pride.  Grin
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Beetlejuice + Suitcase=love (recon) on: August 25, 2006 10:28:35 PM
Ooooh, man, I used love watching the Beetlejuice cartoons on Saturday mornings. That suitcase is super rad and you did a great job painting it!
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Romance novels on: August 25, 2006 10:26:09 PM
Hilarious, a bit disturbing, and I love the detail you put into each of the bugs.
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Portraits of Johnny Depp, Joe Strummer, Thom Yorke, and my brother. on: August 25, 2006 10:16:58 PM
Oh, I'm sorry for replying to all these so late, I haven't checked this thread in a while because I wasn't expecting many replies.

Also, i would KILL my teacher if he ever lost something of mine, maybe yours just liked it, kept it, and said he lost it. haha

I almost did! But my art teacher was (I say "was" because we're getting a new one this year) a tiny old lady and she looks like if a bad wind hit her she'd float away.

And it could turn up...i know my art department always clears out stuff every couple of years and finds stuff people did years ago.

Last semester my art teacher found a painting by a student that she had misplaced behind a cabinet. The painting was from a student who had graduated in 1994! So I still have a bit of hope that I'll somehow find my drawing.

Grin Thanks for all the kind words! I'm taking Art III this year and can't wait to see what projects we're going to do (hopefully a lot of painting/drawing, I absolutely suck at pottery). Although I am a bit nervous because I heard our new teacher is a bit of a...witch (for lack of a nicer word). It'll be a change from our old loopy art teacher who used to do a little dance around the art room while we worked.
10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Portraits of Johnny Depp, Joe Strummer, Thom Yorke, and my brother. on: August 05, 2006 11:08:52 PM
All of these drawings I did in my 10th grade Art II class. The pictures were taken by my art teacher so I can't guarantee they're of the best quality.

The pictures go from the very first one I did (Johnny Depp) to the last (Joe Strummer). You can obviously tell I became more comfortable with the medium as I went along (I'm more used to computer-oriented art).

Sadly, my art teacher lost my portrait of Thom Yorke at the end of the year.  Undecided

Johnny Depp, from a picture I found in a magazine. In real life it's pretty big, around 14 x 11.

A portrait of my older brother, Jon. The lips look strange because in the picture I based it off of he had the weirdest look on his face. Like he ate something sour.  Cheesy Before doing this, I never realized what a meaty neck he has.

My favorite and the one my teacher lost.  Embarrassed Thom Yorke from Radiohead. Shading all of the dark spots was a bitch.

Joe Strummer. This is the last one I did, I finished it sometime around October. I don't like the shading on his left cheek, I'll try to fix it later. My pencils are different than the ones I used in class and you can tell if I make a mark with a different pencil.

I have another I did in my spare time of Trent Reznor but I can't seem to find it. I also have a half-finished one of John Lennon but I don't think I'll continue working on it because it isn't all that good.
