1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Mohair Mirror on: January 01, 2014 03:21:02 AM
Something simple to start off a new year of crafting. The picture looks a little fuzzy, but it's because the mirror is a little fuzzy since I wrapped it in mohair. I promise I didn't skin those red head juggling creatures from The Labyrinth, even though that's exactly what it looks like. I thought it would need more but it only needed two; balls of wool, not creatures from The Labyrinth Wink

It's nice to have something with a little texture to it on the wall.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / a bit of borage on: October 20, 2013 01:25:10 PM
It's not huge (9cm by 9cm), but this is my first hoop. Last night I stitched my interpretation of a borage flower onto leather using blue, gray and silver threads. This morning I realised it's one of my favourite things Smiley

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Amber; for hair and ears (or hairy ears if that is your situation) on: March 05, 2013 11:35:22 PM
I had found a necklace of amber beads in a second hand shop awhile ago and noticed the beads were of various sizes and shapes. I decided to dismantle it and make some earrings and then I started stitching tiny beads onto a fabric covered button. 3 hours later it was done and is now a hair clip. My hair colour is a similar shade so it is not too obvious in my hair just a nice little glimmer which I'm very pleased with so I thought I would share it with you all Smiley
