I have a question...are the turtle and spider patterns not in either of her first two books?

It's in the Third Treasury of Charted patterns, so it's the third book.

The spider is great too, I can't wait to get started on it.
12  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: best cereal "recipes"? on: June 16, 2007 09:00:22 AM
anyone make a mean granola or other kind of breakfast cereal? i've decided to try and cut down on processed foods as much as I can (and mostly at home) and so I'm looking for any ideas that will make granola in bulk.

I use alton brown's recipe from Good Eats. I cut back the sugar, otherwise its really good.

Rumor has it that these actually do work:

There's also some tutorials somewhere around here on how to make your own.

I have a bead spinner and they do work wonderfully. I have the wood one but I have heard good things about the DIY versions, too.

If I ever finish the last minute present for my SIL's birthday I can get started on these...
Hopeing to finish today or tomorrow. As hubby's birthday is next month I Have to be sneaky. I'll have to crochet them while he's not here. I'm debating making them into a mobile or something like that.

I was thinking the same thing. I want to make a mobile for my friend who loves all things atari and video game, to put in his cube at work. If you do it, please share! I'll do the same if I get to it anytime soon.

CrochetWitch- *grins* I'm 35. I bought all 3 seasons of Wonder Woman for myself and my tween age daughter LOVES them.

I'll add my accolades and gratitude for this as well. I grew up on Wonder Woman, I have the underroos to prove it. I appreciate your generosity in sharing the pattern, can't wait to get going on it.

Do you have any trouble with the gold finish on the beads? or do you used gold-lined beads?

Next up for me will be THIS one or... THIS one

Those are hot. If you make them I'd be interested in your yarn choices. The first one looks kind of like manos.

Could you share the bert pattern? I have a little someone who would die for it and bert wasn't on the web page that was shared in this thread.

I love the second one down....is it a dried flower? How did you keep the color from running?

Excellent job! They're all well crafted.
