1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Valentina's Shirt on: February 04, 2013 10:46:23 AM
Please bare with me as I have not reached the post limit yet to be able to upload pictures. However, I wanted to share this shirt I made for my daughter for Valentine's. I was a little unsure about it because the shirt had laid by the window and got sun damage but it ended up still looking fine. I used some left over fabric from another project, laid it under the shirt and embroideried the two pieces together with a heart shape. Then I sewed lines across the heart. Finally I cut lines in the shirt between the lines I had sewed. Below is a link to my blog to share pictures of the shirt with you.

3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello from Alabama on: February 04, 2013 06:10:21 AM
Hello everyone! I am new here and thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Sheena. I am 28 years old and married with four kids who keep me busy. My oldest three are in school (1st, 2nd & 3rd grade) and my youngest is almost a year old. I am PTA Treasurer, my husband is PTA president (which means I am president too), I am on the parent advisory committee and room mom in my children's classes. I also work as a paralegal. I was going to quit my job when my youngest child was born so now I work from home. I feel like I live at the doctor. My baby was born a month premature via emergency c-section and has had a lot of issues ever since. Although he is finally starting to improve so hopefully I'll spend less time at the doctors' offices. I love to make things of all sorts. I see something in a store or on tv and think I can make that for less. I scrapbook (not as much as I use to), sew, crochet (it kills my wrist but I love it) and woodwork. I love to repurpose something I can no longer use into something that we can use again. I also love to blog and read blogs.
