I am happy, that my package has arrived safely, I was worried about that. The rhino was hard to make, but I am happy I've sent to you, he'll get a good home out there Smiley

I love that fur, Spikefan, I hope, you'll post what you're doing with that Smiley

Well, shipping costs are crazy here, i think, my most expensive package went to annawashinn to Germany (like 600 miles?!), and I've only sent some fabrics maybe?! I remember, I was a little shocked. Other thing is shipping time... sometimes it needs like 30+ days, however I am always sending things with Priority mail (so it should be arrive ANYWHERE in 8 working days... My last package went to New York on this Monday, and it's already there...

Anne, I don't mind to get winter items now... better to get them earlier ... in Spring, I've got a 2 infinity scarves, it was 25C and i wore one of them... who cares to look silly with an amazing handcrafted scarf?! Smiley

in the us, anything thicker than 1/4 is called a package...so depending on weight, it is still about $10 a pound to send overseas... Sad...

BLEHH!! That sucks!  Angry  Undecided  Huh

In the Netherlands if it fits the letter slot, it is considered a letter, it does also depend on weight, but it isn't very expensive. If it doesn't fit, it is considered a package and costs at least 18 euro to send to the USA (24 dollars, 2kg max) It is cheaper to send within Europe, that is half of the costs!

But it still sucks!! If I get it to fit an envelope I can send 250 grams - 2kg for 9 euro (12 dollars) and 100 -250 grams for 5 euro (4,5 dollars)!
That isn't too expensive, is it? Of course much cheaper to send within my country, but not much Dutchies here! (there are, I know!!)

You can send me a pillow without the stuffing, if I might win it! Saves a bit?!

yea, sounds like in Hungary. maybe a bit less prices, but the system is teh same.

I would looove to get cards. On Christmas, I've sent out like 25 'craftster-swapper-made' cards, and everybody loved them Smiley
Love this pillow too, but you guys might have to keep in mind that there are swappers from overseas, so count on the shipping costs too. (this pillow, or that beautiful doll would be extra expensive to send Sad )

Wow, Grab a Coffee, you are busy!! Show us what you're making.  I'd love to see the Hungarian pins and keychains!

Haha, someone is reading my facebook page?! Smiley
Well... as per request, here they are:
The Hungarian folk (maty) pins:

Keychains (and a little explanation):
In the Hungarian education system we are using a five-point scale at schools. There is one failing grade: 1 elgtelen (insufficient). In general, the lowest passing mark is either 50% or 60%, or one mark (point) higher. Passing grades are 2 elgsges (sufficient or pass), 3 kzepes (mediocre or satisfactory), 4 j (good) and 5 jeles (excellent). Sometimes "5*", five starred ("csillagos ts") is used to indicate outstanding performance throughout the semester. My mother is a teacher, and she was wondering, what could she give to her graduates. She decided that she will hand out some 'five starred' keychains...  So I had to make like 40 of them.

Now, I am working on little owls and little birds... 15/15... so I have much to do at the weekend. Smiley Just started to cut them out.

Double checking after caffeine hits the bloodstream.
