1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: How I spent my weekend on: July 29, 2006 12:36:08 PM
These remind me of the beaded bracelets on stretchy plastic that I loved so much in college.  But the i-cord will be much stronger then the elastic thread.

I think I will have to try this once I have a few more socks knit up - and more scrap yarn!
2  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Headband Swap signups 7/27-8/10 sendout 8/30 on: July 29, 2006 06:39:38 AM
This swap looks like so much fun!  I have just been online looking for inspiration to make sure I would be able to create something!  Now I just need to check my schedule and make sure I have the time to participate!

I love this pattern! I keep seeing amazing interpretations of Anthropologie patterns that I like even better then the originals and this is one of them!

Thank you so much for sharing your pattern!

7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Unconditional Swapper Swap - OCTOBER (gallery) on: November 08, 2005 07:50:53 PM
I have been so busy I have not had time to check on the list but Annim I am so happy that you got your package. I was starting to get a little worried about it!

I did my best to model it after your request necklace, but after I had finished and went to look at the original I realized I had gone in a totally different direction! I guess my memory can not be trusted as much as I thought when I start crafting.

I love what you did with the earing, I hope you enjoy wearing the set!

I've got picutres at last!
I received a gorgeous cluster necklace from Princesskate:

and some beads so I could make matching earrings:

and here are the earrings I made:

My brother doesn't really know how to take pictures of things like earrings Tongue so the picture doesn't do much justice.

I got back from a weekend trip and was so excited when I finally got to my mail and there was a wonderful skein of handspun yarn! Thank you so much to my secret swapper, I would love a pm from you so I can thank you personally!

It is the most beautiful mix of soft yarns in such amazing pinks and purples! I can't wait to knit it up!

Thank you so much!

I was unable to find a tutorial for a needle holder similar to what I made so I will work on it this week and will post details when I have them! Thank you all so much for the compliments!

I am so glad Faerietail liked the needle cases! After making them I had to make a few new ones myself since they included improvements over my last set!

Jaami, if there is not currently a tutorial for the knitting needle cases I would be happy to put one up. I have been planning on making a few more for holiday gifts! I will have to check if there is currently one up.
