1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Zebra print Woven purse on: October 16, 2013 06:56:09 AM
So I made one of these woven purses out of a pillowcase for the pillowcase challenge...and I liked the way it looked so much I decided to make another one Grin. I really like the look of woven Fabric.
so here it is:
2  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 91 ENTRIES / pillow case woven purse on: October 01, 2013 06:55:11 AM

I made this purse by cutting the pillow case into strips and sewing the raw edges of each strip under, I also used pink fabric and cut it into strips in the same way. I wove them all together and then sewed it together to create a purse.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / baby blanket from a pillow case on: September 25, 2013 03:55:31 PM
I had made curtains and a crib bed skirt from the sheets and all I had left was a pillow case so I cut it into two separate pieces and added in the orange fabric and used some plain white fabric for the backing to create a matching baby blanket. Smiley
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / crochet flower on: September 23, 2013 07:16:41 PM
I crocheted this little flower out of tatting thread (because I haven't been able to master tatting yet...lol)  I am thinking it would be cute on a hair barrette or maybe on a tote bag?
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / bird pillows! on: February 01, 2013 06:44:04 AM

I had some super ugly pillows that needed recovered so I made pillowcases with bird cutouts and lime green fabric stitched on the inside!

made this out of scraps of material I had laying around...
my little girl wears this with a long sleeve shirt under it now but once summer comes ( if it ever does...lol) she will be able to wear it by itself.

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / baby booties on: January 19, 2013 11:56:58 AM

I made these little baby booties for my nephew, I loved making these because they use such little fabric, the fabric on the inside of these is from a child's button-up shirt and the outer fabric was just some scrap material I had!
