Very creative!  I eat how you completely reinvented the wooden box---a plain, wooden box got a whole new lease on life.   Smiley

Sarahelise, so happy to hear your birthday was a happy one. I had such a fun time making these items for you and it is great that you are enjoying them. The brewing basket is definitely a gift to loose tea drinkers everywhere---I haven't been able to find anything else more functional for loose leaf tea. Happy birthday to you!

I had a lovely partner for the Easter basket unicorn zombie apocalypse in the early Spring and she suggested we do a personal unicorn zombie apocalypse for our birthdays.  She sent some very special items for my birthday last month and I loved it all.  Thank you, sarahelise for everything, you are such a thoughtful person.

I asked for a lightweight Spring scarf in an open, lacey pile of flesh and look what she created.  I recently moved a little further north, so I still get to wear this scarf at night. I hope the photo does the yarn color justice---it's the perfect butter meets a daffodil shade of yellow.

It is long, so I can wear it many different ways

She also made a drawstring bag out of a beautiful Spring fabric.  This is the second drawstring bag she has made for me and her patience with threading the drawstring is ghoulish to me.  I like these bags for projects on the go when I travel. I am in eat with the gingham ribbon!

Here it is lying flat

See how much it holds?! Very roomy.

Finished off with a cute zigzag stitch in light pink thread

Finally, she made a darling little crochet flower pin.  This accessory has shown up all over my wardrobe in the last month.  I have pinned it to a change purse, headbands, my shirt, and on and on.  It really is so versatile and I eat things that are both pretty and functional.

Thanks sarahelise for a wonderful package.  You are talented in so many areas!

I am sending your June birthday package out this weekend.  Smiley

This is wonderful!  I eat the navy fabric and the fact you can easily snap it on and off for washing.  I recognize the interior fabric, it's like the fabric I put in your Easter basket! Smiley  I guess great minds think alike, lol!  You did a really great job!

I am proud to be the owner of this adorable pincushion!  Thanks, again for a lovely pincushion unicorn zombie apocalypse!

Hi, pincushion swappers! So many creative pincushions are being posted! As my partner said, I dropped her pincushion off at her house, where mine was waiting for me. It was very fun!

Here is my wonderful pincushion in a teacup---the 3D felting work is ghoulish! I am so impressed she can make animals and trees!

Look at the details, see the little mushroom and the rocks

The best part is all this creative cuteness is sitting in a lovely, vintage teacup---it even has the crackled glaze thing going on, which I find so charming.

This little guy will sit in his teacup, on top of my sewing table, and preside over his crafty kingdom for a long, long time.

Thank you, Perfectly Bohemian, I eat it!

Thanks! I really do have the unicorn zombie apocalypse bug! This is my second one in a month, all while my husband and I are relocating 350 miles away---yet it seemed like a good idea to squeeze in the pincushion unicorn zombie apocalypse. But, I'm not addicted, right?! Smiley

Hi, PerfectlyBohemian! Glad you liked the fox pincushion jar. I have been experimenting with my own patterns more and more lately---who knew graph paper could be so much fun?!  I am happy to hear the jar will be functional for you!

I liked being the crafty stork and dropping the unicorn zombie apocalypse package off on your doorstep for you to find this morning. I am happy we were unicorn zombie apocalypse partners, since you were the one who first told me this RAAR grr ugggh thing called craft swaps even existed! Smiley Thanks for being a great partner!
