Love the Rodeo girl! humorous Cheesy

Here are my last two cards. Thank you to Acadian Driftwood and Kosmicgirl for taking the time to remake the first cards I did not receive.

For my pirate theme Acadian Driftwood free handed this mini sewn ATC based on Blackbeard's Flag. My first sewn ATC! Smiley

Kosmicgirl made this Adorable creature for my Angel/devil theme. She mentioned it's more devil than angel but I love it!! it's so cute. I love the 3-Dish wings.

I received two cards on Friday....

First one from blupaisan for my theme Old Medical Equipment. My boyfriend thought this one was really cool! I like the name plate next to it.

From Michelleandbean for my theme Treasure maps. The black background really makes the map "pop"

Thank you! Smiley

EDITED TO ADD..

Received this ATC today from CDEeek! For my theme butterflies. A specimen tray of butterflies. I love the concept! I never would have thought of it. Thank you so much!

Okay, so of course my internet stops working as soon as I join my first swap! I deeply apologize to my partners for not being able to post pictures until NOW.

My first card ever received from my first swap was from Kosmicgirl for my theme "vintage fashion" She used stamps, which I love! The colors blend so well together. I love the Steampunk-ish feel to it.
"The Sunday Hat"

This next one is from Blupaisan for my theme "Zentangles" I like the creativeness of the thunderstorm. Zentangles are one of my favorite forms of art because I love black and white and repetitive patterns. She also sent me some extra's.

OathKeeper made this cute sandwich for my "I love pickles" theme. She wrote that she used to eat pickles on her PB and J sandwiches growing up! lol  Tongue I LOVE pickles and peanut butter but not together haha
"Even on my P.B. and J"

Last one for now is from Kallium for my "Siamese Twins" theme. I like the short thoughtful poem with it!

Thanks Ladies! Smiley I've had a lot of fun with this swap (despite my internet not working! Embarrassed )

9  Collage ATC's in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by Beautifulsoul on: January 20, 2013 12:29:26 PM
So, I realized my very first ATC totally sucked. Cheesy I knew I could do better so I tried harder the second time. Mine are all made from pieces of scrap book paper, stamps, and clip art images. I know, it's not really "true" art but, I'm not the best at drawing  Undecided I'm interested in future swaps but I'm nervous that people won't like my style/art work. There is always room to improve and I'm sure I will get better over time. Artistic talent is in my blood  Cheesy

Here is what I came up with last week...

I re-made my first circus version

Hot Glam Girl!

Seamstress Beauty

Memory Book

Strike a Pose

Sorry if some of the images are blurry. I tried to resize them for the site but it made them blurry in the process.

10  Beads of courage in Crafty Charitable/Social Causes by Beautifulsoul on: January 19, 2013 09:37:47 PM
Beads of Courage is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. They provide innovative, arts-in-medicine supportive care programs for children coping with serious illness, their families and the health care providers who care for them. For more information please visit www.beadsofcourage.org

Here is how you can donate:

Bead designers/makers can create their own beads and send in. Read the guidelines/tips first here http://www.beadsofcourage.org/pages/beadartists.htmbefore making any kind of beads.

If you are not a bead maker you can still donate manufactured beads and send to the same address. You can also give money donations.

I have pictured an example of what a child's beads courage looks like. It's actually mine from 2007. Even the littlest of things like beads brightens their days tremendously and keeps them smiling during the toughest of times.

Thanks for checking it out. God Bless
