The photos that vanished are of the journal cyndiq sent me and the owl calliebuggie sent me. Thanks for a great swap everyone.

My boyfriend and I just did a 12 day long maths course and we wanted to thank the teacher, so we decided to make him a Rubik's Cube from origami. It's all modular origami, where you make several small modules and join them together (no glue, just clever folds). This cube has 26 little cubes in it, each made from 6 modules. That's 156 modules and 936 folds!

I knitted this for my boyfriend for his birthday. That was back in June, so unfortunately I don't remember the yarn used. 

The pattern is Grumperina's Shifting Sands, found here, http://www.grumperina.com/knitblog/shiftingsands.htm. This scarf has close to 3000 cable crosses in it, with 10 in every right side row. Also, it hasn't been blocked, as I had no time before I was due to see him.

I stenciled this shirt for my boyfriend's birthday. We saw one like it when we were shopping once and he said he wanted one. The stencil is fading a bit now. Sorry the photo isn't great.

This is for one of my closest friends for her birthday. She loves black and white, especially stripes and anything piratey, so this was the obvious thing to make her.

Here it is on my bear, looking like a regular stripy scarf


And stretched out on the floor. The skull motifs are only visible at a particular angle


And folded up, where the skull is obvious. You can also see the fringe

This is my entry. It's just a simple long thin scarf. I made the fringe so that it sort of looks like gum leaves.

I sent this scarf to Polaritygirl in the Pringles tin swap. I wanted to keep it though.

Finally! The right computer! Here is all the goods that I got.

I made these from a bunch of resistors. My mum wants to wear them to work (she works at an electrical store), but I want to keep them. They're nerdy. ^^
