Thanks for the encouragement guys!

what a great idea!  This is a wonderful idea for those who are unable to put nails or paint their walls. I love this!

Exactly! it just leans against the wall. the garland also creates a cushioning effect between the lattice and the wall to prevent scratches.

Lovely, I love it. ALthough I would hate to have to dust it, lol.

Hahahaha tooooooo true, every now and then I tend to just lean it forward and give it a couple of shakes to stop the dust accumulating. That's cleaning right? Wink

thanks leopardstripes and seneris for the kind words!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you my huge lattice wall hanging I recently completed.  It looks as good during the day as it does at night and I'm really pleased with it. Think I'll use it as a bedboard and maybe spray paint some old photoframes gold and put my favourite shots in there.

Here's what I started with - I used a large piece of outdoor lattice, plastic floral garlands and LED fairy lights :

Then the fairy lights I threaded first

Took about 4 hours to thread the garlands

Finished result.... Not too shabby!!!

I set up my camera in the corner and made a time lapse video of how the whole thing came together here if you're interested:
