Crazy - my mom has made these for every special occasion since I was born. She got the "recipe" from my grandma.

You can make them a pinch healthier by using Turkey Ham. Another trick is to make sure you get the lunch meat thick enough - no shaved stuff, but you don't want steaks either.

Mommying has required me to carry a tote-size, or larger, bag for what seems like forever - and have had to keep smaller things, chapstick, keys, cell phone in small pockets or bags so they don't go missing.

I recently received a GoKnit Pouch from my Secret Pal and I totally heart it. The loop is awesome to attach to my belt or stroller. I highly recommend loops on bags.

Debbie Stoller's SnB: Nation is really helpful for modifying an existing pattern. So if you have a basic sweater pattern, it gives you all the math tools you need to make it your own.

I just used it to design a shrug for my daughter and after much scribbling of notes (and having to grab my calculator) I think it's going to turn out great.

Since I love marshmallow peeps, and can't justify eating them now that I've been diagnosed with diabetes, i had to make my own sweet treat, a baby peep:

Marjorie these are crazy cute!! I'm diabetic too and maybe, if I imagine hard enough, one of these will squelch my Easter sweet tooth. But it'll have to be a pink one, they're my favorite.

I must have missed the part where it told me to change colors for the blue stripe near the bottom and I added a few rounds on the all grey parts to make it longer, but the pattern was really easy to follow. Thanks!
