I owe the largest apology and the biggest thanks to my delightful partner BronzFrog.
I have had a bit of a tough time at home over the last 3 weeks, my son fractured his foot so severely that he has needed quite a scary operation Sad
Hence, I have had my head full of that and have not been able to prioritise time for photo taken.

However, you must all know that I was made the most gorgeous wonderful garden chime full of colour and fire and sunshinyness - and you will ALL fall in love with it. I have a very sacred space in my garden where I go to hang out when the world gets a tad overwhelming, and it is so fitting that this piece of sunshine hangs above me and reminds me that after rain - always comes the sun.
Thankyou so much gorgeous Bronzfrog - and I have every hope, that your parcel (after its re-route back to me in the UK) will be with you this week
xxx

I was in the scrap swap recently, and was overjoyed when I was paired up with wulf. I just knew as soon as I had him as a partner that I wanted to make him something that would mirror his love of all the pagan themed swaps.

I have made many of these... what I like to call, re-loved books.. but I have to say this was my most favourite so far. The book begins with a Pagan year wheel, and continues with each double spread representing a different pagan festival. The pages are not traditional pagan colours or themes, but instead personal expressions as to how I experience each festival. The edge of each page grouping, is set of with a charm which dangle on the outside of the book

Nice and pic heavy for those of you that like a good peruse Smiley
Front page and Pagan Wheel

Yule (blues, winter, self reflecting)

Imbolc. (Lighting up the dark, inspiration sparks, starting with nothing)

Beltane (Frivolity, Maypoles, Dancing, Warming up the grumps of winter)

Litha (fire, passion, mystery, Lust )

Lammas (harvest, within and without, return to self, celebration)

Samhain (Innocence versus deceit, hiding, containing, secrets, mysteries)

Back page, and always a space to show case something very special. This whole book was about a journey through the year, and being a psychotherapist, I have a great affection for all of lifes journeys. None more complex and difficult to manage than the individual discoveries and paths we must travel whilst also trying to steer our relationships. I had asked Wulf to send me a photo of himself and it just set a lovely scene for the rest of the pieces. The backgrounds are very intentionally made from papers and fabrics that are dissected then brought together to create a whole. Then we have lots of symbolic pieces, a little bottle containing stars labeled - potential, a reminder perhaps that everything - the good and the difficult moments, are full of potential. A little heart up in the corner that says made with love. The tree in the bottom right corner, resembling the roots and foundations of our journeys.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at this as much as I enjoyed making it. But of course, only Wulf gets to touch and fully experience it.

Awwwwwww xx wulf, what a lovely post Smiley I love doing those books, and this one was my favourite by far. And yes - you are right, I do craft from my heart Smiley
Tell you what though - the irritation I have with customs is at full temperature grrrrrrrr I shall put a full listing for the book at some point today Smiley. Now you have me intrigued as to my parcel, which I am sure will come soon.

I wondered why I hadn't seen anything yet Smiley))) wow this gallery is explosive !!!! My package is stuck in Canada Sad always takes forever to go through Canadian customs. Crossing fingers that it hurries itself up

Grrrr! Angry I wonder why this happens so much to your packages. Each point of origin seems to be treated differently, for some reason. But at least it's getting closer. I wonder how my package to you is doing (no tracking from this end.)

Wulf
It always happens from me to Canada. I sent one to foxyblue one swap and it took 2 months !!! It's rare I agree to swap with Canada for this reason, but I could resist the opportunity to swap with you Sad - you'll like it though - I spoiled you x
