1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / A white Christmas Commemorative mini hoopla on: December 29, 2012 03:02:49 PM
We had a rare white Christmas in the south this year so I decided to make a little hoopla to mark the memory. This year my daughter (TechnicolorAquahearts) and her girlfriend (ErinAquaheart) and I celebrated by crafting and this is one of the projects we did together. Mine features a tree with some snow and 2012 on a printed fabric background that reminded me of snowflakes floating on the wind.

I have been following this thread for some time now and I am so amazed at all the wonderful projects I have seen! My daughter (TechnicolorAquahearts) let me know that what I was doing is called lurking and I should get the courage to post my own projects.  Grin
So here are a couple of the things I have made while crafting with my daughter and her girlfriend this Christmas.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Potions
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Mini Hoopla commemorating our white Christmas
Brief Description: This project fits the Potions assignment because it is a mini hoop that is only 4 inches across making it no bigger than 4x4x4

It's been a long time since I have done any needle work so it was very fun and refreshing. We all made hooplas together as one of our holiday activities and it was so fun!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Study Of Ancient Runes
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Santa Sequin Ornament
Brief Description: This fits the Ancient Runes Assignment because it is a craft that commemorates the christmas of 2012 for our family.
