Hi there!

I'm going to be at Art Star! It's my first show so I'm REALLY nervous. And unfortunately the weather forecast isn't looking so great. Of course.

But anyway, I'm currently in Marlton, soon to be moving to Cinnaminson (in Nov). I've lived all over Jersey. Grew up in Brick and Toms River, lived in Ewing, Lawrenceville, and Lindenwold. It's great seeing other crafters in the area! Hope to see some of you this weekend!

Oh wow, I didn't know it was a yarn store, I just assumed it was a kids shop. Hmm, I'll have to wander in there sometime.

The Collingswood was probably a month and a half ago. Similar stuff and probably about the same size. Maybe a little smaller. But they had all sorts of food vendors and kids activities and stuff. I was disappointed with the lack of food options yesterday. All I left with was a frapuccino!

Are there ever any shows in Philly?  You'd think they'd have something there, but I don't think I've ever heard of one.

I drive by woolplay on my way to work everyday. Is it all kid's clothing? I've never been inside.

I thought the craft fair in Collingswood was better. And from what I remember, the booths there were pretty cheap. Although, I didn't buy anything there either.

I went to this on Sunday. Did you girls go? I didn't end up buying anything although there were a lot of cute bags that I wanted.

I ended up only staying about an hour because it was so hot out. I live really close by though, so it was convenient.

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: 2 New Books! Take a look! :-) on: July 05, 2005 05:54:30 AM
Gail - the paper is stitched, and it feels incredible! I just love it!

Nessagurl - I got the paper and the text blocks from the paper source. http://www.paper-source.com/

They have awesome stuff! Unforunately, they are sold out of a lot of the diff size text blocks, so I just stocked up on some of the ones they do have. It saves so much time. The binding takes so much time. Plus these always look great and I don't have to worry about not getting my stitches tight enough!!

Thanks!!!

They are actually just covered in some handmade paper that I had. I love working with paper! Thank goodness for this holiday today because I'm able to sit at home and make cards all day!

And I have about 6 more text blocks so I can make some more books today too! The best thing about getting the text blocks is that it only takes me about 1.5 hours to make a book as opposed to a whole day.  Smiley

Hi there!!

I just finished two new books. Well, I kinda cheated a little bit because I got the text blocks premade from the Paper Source, but I still put it together and made the covers and such. It's just so difficult to cut all those text pages without a fancy paper cutter. But anyway!

Here they are!

Please let me know what you think of them!

I put myself on there yesterday, but I don't know if people still look at that thread, I sure hope so!

I guess I could always contact people about a link swap, in case they don't happen to see that thread.
