JaneD - I love your take on drive. Perfect.

I played around with alchohol inks for the first time tonight and ended up with theme 67, playing the melody.

OK - I went to put this in my little ATC box and found one I made weeks ago and never posted!!!
This one is #70 - 67 Percent. It's a fliptop card.
Here's the outside:

OK - I've had the list of these themes printed out for a while. I had an ATC I started for a swap that had a butterfly on it....silly me STAMPED a butterfly and a background for an anything but rubber swap so I had to abandon it. I should have left it abandoned because I don't like how this turned out.
So, anyway, here it is:
#24 - Butterfly

Forgive the blurry background. I think the scanner did that because the butterfly is stuck on with a pop dot.

I don't post here much but I've really taken an interest in ATC's lately and this list has inspired me. Here are my 4 attempts so far:
#1 - Introduction

#2 - Love

#23 - Cats

and #24 - No Time

Thanks for looking. I'm enjoying seeing everyone else's interpretation of the list as well!

6  Love is a Habit in CHALLENGE 6 ENTRIES by gg05 on: October 09, 2005 08:22:20 AM
I had so much fun with this challenge. I found so much stuff taking my son places - the playground, a back-to-school luau party - and its all mounted on a 12 x 12 piece of cardboard that comes in a pack of scrapbook pages to keep them from getting bent. You'll notice a palm tree drink stirrer thing, some slik flower petals, a little yellow bow bead and some kind of purple plastic thing with an arrow. The latter 2 were found on a playground. The palm tree and flowers were rescued from the trash at the party. There are also 2 piece of ribbon that I found in a parking lot. The pink tissue paper background was found at the playground - remnant of a birthday party.

This is a piece of paper I found on the playground - I think its from one of those streamer-popper things.

This is a torn piece of a gateway cow box. I work in an IT department. I found this in our parking lot. It apparently tore off of a box when we were unloading a truck but it was in this exact shape. I did not modify it at all!

For approximately 10 years, I haved saved nearly every fortune out of every fortune cookie I have eaten. I never knew what to do with them until now. It seemed fitting to me.

Thanks for looking. This was my first attempt at collage and I really had a good time!

7  Tie one on! (image heavy) in CHALLENGE 2 ENTRIES by gg05 on: June 25, 2005 07:27:20 PM
Let me first say that I have NEVER EVER EVER EVER sewn before in my ENTIRE life. My mom got a new sewing machine a few years ago. I got her old Singer in the deal. I put it in the basement and didn't touch it. I didn't know what to do with it. This challenge inspired me. I bought my supplies, whipped out the machine and thought I was going to breeze through this. HAHAHAHAHA I broke a needle trying to wind the bobbin. SO, off to mom's for beginner's sewing 101 (or how to wind a bobbin without going through my entire supply of needles).

3 days later I have an outfit! WOO HOO!!!

Here's what I started with:

And here's my finished project - my take on men's dressy attire!

And here I am modeling it! I hope this pics are OK - my 6 year old took them for me!!!

I know its not perfect but I'm not too disappointed in my first attempt at sewing.
Thanks for this challenge - it got me motivated to finally try my hand at this!!! Grin

8  Fancy Rubber Gloves by gg05 in Craftster Craft Challenges by gg05 on: May 31, 2005 07:24:36 PM
OK - I'm almost embarassed to post this. Didn't turn out as cute as I imagined but HERE GOES! Wish I was as crafty as the rest of you...I'm pretty new to this all. I've always wanted to make cool stuff but I've got "Crafter's block" or something.

This is what I started with....all from Dollar Duz It...

And this is the finished project...I like to call it "Who ME, do DISHES? Are you CRAZY?!"

And a close up of the bling on the ring finger...a funky button I found in my awesome stash of buttons from my Grandma...

The colors don't show up so great on screen...the "nails" are painted purple and the ribbon is purple, green and yellow/gold...think Mardi Gras. I had some funky mardi gras stickers too but couldnt' work them in anywhere.
