11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Celestial Starfall beaded necklace on: July 14, 2013 02:34:20 PM
its a terrible picture but I am so happy with how it turned out that I had to share.
I used a blue mix of seed beads and added pearly and yellow beads to give it a celestial feel. And then the stars are white resin stars that I have had so long that I don't remember how long I've had them. I beaded the necklace base and then centered and wove in each star drop. It is a 16inch necklace with a lobster clasp.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Share Bear the Care Bear on: June 15, 2013 08:11:04 PM
One of my favorite cartoons growing up was CareBears! I loved that show!!!! So when I had some care bear stampers that had shriveled and crumbled I cut the care bears off the stamper part and turned them into necklace charms. For the longest time Share Bear has been proudly worn on a ball chain without any thought to "upgrade." I recently acquired a purple necklace for repurposing and when I added it to my necklace collection immediately realized how awesome the two would go together.
So....voila!

And a detail of my beads. The shooting star came from a Clair's necklace from LOOOONG ago.
13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Let me see the Peacock!!!! on: June 09, 2013 04:41:01 PM
I love peacocks so I couldn't resist making this necklace when the idea hit me. Shrinkydink really can do amazing things!

14  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Blue and Purple Peacock inspired dangle earrings on: June 08, 2013 12:27:43 PM
I used shrinkydink and sharpie to make these. I love the gradient of the blue, teal, and purple that happened when it all got put together. All the pieces are irregular. I really is one of a kind.

15  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Starlight Drop dangle earrings on: June 08, 2013 12:24:49 PM
Found these precious glass beads with stars and a little crescent moon on them and just had to make earrings with them.

a detail of the bead
16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / School of Fish Bracelet on: February 25, 2013 01:35:07 PM
More toys!!! More crane machine (playtillyouwin) prizes! These fish are those hollow plastic toys and when I held them all together they looked like a school of fish. Some blue chain for ocean water, swirly glass beads for bubbles, and some purple gems for scales and I ended up with the best summer bracelet ever!!! Can't wait for the cold rainy days to go away so I can wear this to the beach!

And a little detail. *pennyforscale*
17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Oops! Radioactive Teddy Bear Set on: February 24, 2013 08:56:08 PM
I came across these little plastic teddy bear toys in a play-till-you-win crane machine. I loved them but had no clue what to do with them. The other day a necklace that I got for a dollar broke and the pieces inspired my little radioactive set!

18  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / They Come in Peace. Escape from Planet Earth: A Homage To on: February 23, 2013 09:37:51 AM
I went and saw Escape from Planet Earth a few days ago and just had to have my own little aliens. These sweet little green men have eye stalks and hot pink hearts. And the best part is that their arms and body dangle and wiggle! Do The WAVE!!!
19  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Cupcake Headband Fascinator on: February 11, 2013 10:01:12 AM
I love to have stuff like this! Something that stands out and might start a conversation. I used felt, embroidery, seed beads, and a basic fabric covered headband to make this. I love it so much!

20  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Conversation Heart Valentine's Day Set on: February 06, 2013 07:48:40 AM
I just finished these the other day! Bracelet and earrings with cloisonne beads and shrink plastic conversation hearts. I am in love with them...and already have to make another set of earrings because a friend called dibs on this pair as soon as she saw them! Didn't even have a chance to wear them.  >:(GRRRRR!  Grin LOL
