Onyxnox: thanks. I hadn't thought of how much seam allowance I might need around my pieces! I know I'll need a logger stitch. I've done some paper piecing and know that too many close stitches make the paper tear off easier. Something I don't want here.

Oh! I am so excited! I'm going to have to find a way to display all the chocolate frog cards that I collect! (My frog cards from the candy are just stuck up on my wall. These aren't the theme park ones. Just the ones you can get at special candy shops)

Craftylittlemonkey: would your daughter be interested in selling/swapping for one of her creations? I love having stuff like that hung in my house and I am currently turning my bedroom into a Harry Potter magical creature inspired universe. Maybe she would like to help me with these cute scrappy pictures? If you and she are interested I can pm you and we can chat. Smiley

I have some Pogs.

Okay. So Pogs. Those fun round pieces of cardboard that was all the rage for fame play in the '90s. I want to make a scrapbook page with them by sewing them into little vellum or plastic pockets. But I'm not sure the best way to go about this on a sewing machine.

I would welcome any advise or tips for how to sew with paper on a sewing machine. Or any ideas for making see through panels to display my Pogs on the page.

FiberAlchemist! That is a brilliant idea! I would love to have chocolate frog cards of all my favorite crafty witches and wizards! That would be so much fun.

Noodle-big: I would like to cancel my previous OWL. I am having a hard time with that one.

I would like to propose a different one instead.

OWL proposal:
Transfiguration Option 1--
Baby Blanket for a Cousin
I am making a baby blanket for my cousin who is due in 4 weeks! She is letting the gender be a surprise so I am going with the 50/50 chance and making it pink! Hope I'm right. Cheesy I'm going to be putting in an hour of work a day into it. I have two baby sport skeins to transfigure into as big of a blanket as I can get out of them. Just making it granny square type. (So if it's a boy I will be making another one later) with how little time I have to work on it each day I think it will take me until the baby arrives to complete it.
