22  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: how do you let a muggle down nicely when they ask you to knit something? on: April 24, 2007 05:06:26 PM
When one of my friend found out that I knit(we weren't even friends then), she immediately exclaimed, "Oh, you MUST knit me a pink bag for my birthday!"
Which I replied with "huh?"
And now that her birthday is approaching, she said, "I can't wait to see what you're going to make for me, remember you PROMISED me?"
HELLO??!! Some people are just impossible.

Love the vest! The tee is really cute too, what size needle and yarn did you use?

Whiskey_pumpkin, I don't see how the puff-sleeved cardigan is much harder than than the v neck pullover really. Except for the lace chart, everything else is just about the same principle.
I love the coquette tube too, but I doubt it'll look good on me Wink

Here's my modified version of the Textured Tunic from the book cover.
It's my third project from the book, and I'm planning to make more!

Thanks guys! I actually followed the pattern for the sleeves, it doesn't look puffy because of my arms. My blog is at www.yuvee.blogspot.com .

I finished the puff-sleeved cardi! The sleeves are not exactly puffy though, thanks to my kingkong arms. More on my blog.
