Thanks for the lovely comments everyone! Please be sure to let me know if you ever decide to knit one!
Here's another one that I knitted.

It's a mini version that uses less yarn. I used 10 skeins of Sirdar Bigga, and that's only like 440 yards of yarn!

And here are some amazing ones that other knitters have made:

Hope I've inspired you all to knit one!  Grin

3  Knitted chairs! ETA: More chairs!! in Knitting: Completed Projects by yuvee on: March 13, 2009 05:57:33 AM

I made this for my final year degree project. Since I'm doing a product design course, it is a bit of a stretch. The idea is to use knitting as a creative media to revive a structure that's os widely available yet unappreciated. The pattern is available for download at www.knittedchairs.blogspot.com
Let me know what you think!

ETA: the blog have since moved to www.knittedchairs.wordpress.com

Here's my modified version of the Textured Tunic from the book cover.
It's my third project from the book, and I'm planning to make more!

I finished the puff-sleeved cardi! The sleeves are not exactly puffy though, thanks to my kingkong arms. More on my blog.

My first FO from the book

I still have the textured tunic and the puffy sleeve feminine cardigan on my needles!

Here's my progress picture

I love seeing it taking shape but I'm also concerned about the size. My pentagons are the right size but it seems to be able to stretch more. I'm really hoping it wouldn't be too big.

I'm finally done with mine!

I started about a year ago, my post is in the page 5 or so of this thread. It took me ages to pick it up again from the UFO basket, but I'm really happy I did, I love how it turns out!
The yarn is Rowan Cashsoft DK, which was divine to knit with.

Here's my first pentagon

I was worried it'd be too small since I'm using thinner yarn and size 5.00mm needle, but I think it should be alright. It was super easy to make! I'm hoping to get at least one pentagon a day.
