Hi again. Thanks for all your nice comments. They all mean a lot to me.
Just thought I could add the link to the pattern for my bracelet. http://friendship-bracelets.net/pattern.php?id=58805 And I don't have a link for the pattern of my pouch because I make it up.
Oh and I love the way vincentvanbuck knotted the hair of the mermaid. Smiley

I am a newbie and I just discovered this board. I love the idea of this board 'cause for me it's a bit hard to find newbie-friendly places at this site, so as a newbie I sometimes get confused while hanging around. Thank you for setting up this board!
Anyway, I recently made my first crocheted item and it is a pouch. I decided to mail it together with this friendship bracelet I made to a dear friend, and I will add a card or letter to the mail. It will be my Christmas present to her. I like green as a festive colour more than red or white, it sounds meaningful to me 'cause it represents newborn life.

Here is the pouch and bracelet.

Thanks for looking. Means a lot to me.

6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Coaster out of shopping bag on: March 25, 2013 08:41:44 AM
I made this coaster out of the shopping bag mum left me with. I hand sewed it. Poor sewing, but I like how it looks with my cup. The best thing is - it is water-proof, so water wouldn't drop onto my desk.
