Not quite finished , just need to make a few little tweaks.

Im posting this for my friend , who made me this and would like opinions.

He used segment displays like you get in alarm clocks  , foam and some nifty soldering .

More fineliner and watercolour...

Today I felt like going back to my good old fineliner and watercolour pencils , I love working with these.    I never intend to draw anything in particular , things just tend to come out , start as sketches and then I work in the colour and pen.

Hope you like her , I think shes a little pissed her mum has made her wear a fancy dress.

Here is my half a scarf I knit  my friend for christmas , I call it half a scarf because its short , this way she can change brooches to hold the neck secure.  I did include a pretty brooch for her though.

So im looking through the Millers antique guide for some inspiration and I come across a very kitschy , brightly coloured brooch .   I kept staring at it thinking , I can make that ... so I did , and here is my attempt.




I used scoobi doos , a key ring round thing , and a safety pin.


What do you think ?   

My nan gave me some vintage patterns today , but ive never done the *yf stitch before .


Can anyone explain how to do this ?

A christmas present for my nan.  Tried finding a rose pattern but in the end I had to make one up myself .  The bee is made from shrinky dink.
