31  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ongoing wish swap 9!!! on: April 06, 2006 01:21:06 PM
I'm claiming avsceriline for her sewing goody bag! I love making them!

List in a moment

My Wish list
1.   A laptop covering case. I carry a briefcase, but I always have my laptop in a sleeve that can be taken out and carried around. It doesnt have to have handles, but itd be nice if it had a zipper or some other secure closure, and an internal pocket (with no zippers! No scratchies for my laptop!) for holding stuff like my usb cord. I have a huge laptop with a 15.4 screen so itd have to be big.  PM me for size!

2.   I recently started a crafty business called Red Flower.  We sell awesome period products- cloth pads, reusable tampons.  Im looking for buttons, with a logo or awesome Period inspiration, tags for my merchandise, or an innovative way to pack products.  PM me for details!

3.   A cute cardigan or hoody.  All these craftsters have totally awesome cardigans with mismatched buttons and kitschy embroidery I want one too! Id love it to be red or some other cheery color, because its winter.  Ick.  (Or a hoody, with a zipper.  I really like earth tones, gnomes, the earth/smiling moonor cupcakes.  And math and science) PM me for exact sizes, but a unisex small 34 bust.  But loose.

5.   Im a science geek.  Id love a t-shirt or bag or whatever with a molecule (think caffeine!) or what-have-ye on it.  Periodic Table of Elements? It rocks.

6.   Knitting Needle Holder- I dont use circular needles, really, so no worries on that front, but places for my needles (straight and dpn) and maybe some notions.

7.   Lunch Box- I bring my lunch to school everyday.  Itd need to be insulated, with enough room to hold a thermos and an orange and snacks.

8.   I have a chin length bob and no idea what to do with it. Id love barrettes or headbands/scarves that are easy to put in Id rather they not be tying headbands because that requires a lot of hand eye coordination and thats kind of sketchy.

9.   Id love a summer skirt.  I start brainstorming my spring and summer wardrobe in February, because its now that the weather here really starts to get me down. Summer skirts are all about cotton and eyelets, lace really light, and fun.  Knee-length-ish happy colors or just neutral but not black or white. Or neon. PM me for sizes.

About Me:
My name is Katie and Im a 15-year-old freshman in NH, USA. I love earthy colors as well as jewel tones. No neon Im really loving things that are bright- Im still recovering from my normal winter state of anemic celery, when the immense amounts of snow, clouds and windy, cold weather are starting to take their toll so bright, happy things. Things I use are normally practical but pop with little bits of

And that's exactly why the postal service will never make money.

Anyways. Awesome.

When I read the title, I thought they'd be... hicky and homemade... but wow! I'm amazed!
34  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Serial Killer swap? on: April 05, 2006 12:32:43 PM
Oh my! This sounds good. I must admit I'm classic- I love the whole "Jack the Ripper" book?  Anyone read the book by Patricia Cornwell?

I was wondering- I'm planning to do a craft fair in the winter, and I was wondering if you guys wanted to do like a "craftster collective"?

Edited because I can't spell.

I submitted my list, but haven't heard back from the organizer. I'm going to bite the bullet and assume that it's okay, and claim SonjaBoo. I'll make something- I'm leaning towards a paper star or a spring tote bag- but it'll be fabulous! I promise.
