No worries at all, elderflower.  These little houses are fun to make.

And with that this swap is now finished.  Thank you, everyone, for participating!

What a great idea and wonderful execution! I had not idea that there were geocaches inside buildings. Hmmmmmm.

There's something about it being a public place, but not a place where you buy things.  Libraries and museums are where I've seen them.
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Cuckoo Clock Geocache on: January 12, 2016 04:53:12 PM
I made this cuckoo clock!  It's actually a geocache inside of a library.

I obtained some of the materials from Michaels such as the box, the fancy frame, the "clock" part, the leaves, and the bird at the top.  The wooden parts were either painted or covered with some fun scrapbooking paper.  I needlefelted the cuckoo with some wool roving that was swapped from this site!  There are additional tiny birdhouses that are hidden throughout the library that are painted and papered, but this one is my baby.

I finally have photographs of the house that elderflower sent to me.

Here it is flat.

Here it is assembled!

There's a neat effect where if you shine a light down from the hole in the top there is a ghostly image inside!
The tiny details are beautiful and I have no idea how you managed to get the cat to match up just right, elderflower!

Thank you for my lovely little house and I apologize for taking forever to get these photos posted.

So sorry!  I mixed up the houses! Embarrassed  SheridanLA made the orange kitty house and Wavelight made the stone house with the kitty.

I have received all of my houses, but I have yet to assemble and photograph elderflower's.  Here are the two that are finished.

From Wavelight SheridanLA!  It's a Halloween scene and when you peep through the window, you can see the kitty looking back at you!

From SheridanLA Wavelight!  It's a steep-roofed old stone building with a kitty in the window!

Thank you, ladies, for these teensy houses!

Catching up on comments again!

elderflower--  The "Red Masque of Death" house is something special.  I like the little stripes and the tiny purple fence and the tricolor beads.  I'm hoping to get my own house put together in the next few days!

Zalphinian --  Both of those houses are great!  They both have tiny details and I like how they are colored.  The blue of the barn house is especially pretty.

WaveLight--  That is such a pretty scene.  The ghosts roaming around under the moonlight in the fog is haunting!
