Whew, international packages have finally arrived!
Here are the vintage-y items I received from whenindoubtsew. My apologies for the lighting. It has been snowing here for days, so if you have better pictures please share them.
Also, there was chocolate somewhere in here...
Here is my new JOL! I think of the black and white ribbon as legs--they're posable! He has the goofiest face... I love it. Great color choice of fabric. He has little black pipecleaner vines and a black ribbon loop so he can be hung. Hanging or sitting, he looks good either way. He was wrapped in candy corn fabric... yus, the perfect way to wrap (wish I had thought of that).
Here is my new banner/bunting! Wow, it's made out of a variety of fabrics including burlap. Each image from my Pinterest is embroidered---wow, wow, wow. And there are lovely Halloween poems on a second piece of fabric sewed at the top to the..um.. behind piece. I'm a lover of these, mostly found on vintage postcards. Contemporary Halloween isn't nearly (hardly) as eloquent. Oh, you must know me well
Closeup of the snowman/pumpkin/jol/witch... I know this is in my Pinterest somewhere. Now I know what it's like to slog through all those Halloween boards.
Closeup of the hissing cat and tiny skull bat from a gallery poster
Closeup of the owl and the witch-cat from a vintage postcard
Closeup of the arched black cat with ghosts and Trick or Treat pumpkin. Hmm.. I can't seem to find who originally created this.
Closeup of the jol with lantern image originally created by Rhode Montijo
Hanging. Not actually where I would put it.
Again, I apologize for the ghastly photos.
Thank you, whenindoubtsew, for my wonderful creations and also thank you, kittykill, for hosting this amazing swap again.
