Love them and such a great idea. I think my boys will love to make some of these.

I love these. I use to play with these characters as a young girl and forgot about them until you posted. I even had a wooden set. Now I am wondering if my mom still has them in storage. Thanks for sharing.
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Felt Penguins - with pattern on: December 11, 2012 04:01:28 PM
Your welcome. The only problem I found with the pattern was the penguin hat. I think the brim needs to be longer.

Leslie,

I got your message and tried to reply, twice, but I don't see my message in the outbox so I don't know if you got it.  Cheesy I just wanted to let you know that I never thought of it that way, through your eyes. I have fixed the issues (hopefully) and you still rock!

I have been busy crafting felt penguins. I can not remember where I found the original design but I took the photo and used it to make my own pattern.

I am in love with these guys!:

Sorry the pattern isn't perfect, but it does work  Wink
17  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas Tags on: December 05, 2012 09:54:04 AM
Every year I make Christmas Tags for present with my son(s). It has kind of become a family tradition. For a few years this was expanded to hosting swaps (on other sites) for adults and kids. This year the crafting was left up to my 9 year old.

Here is his creation:

We decided to use formica samples from my favorite craft store....the hardware store.....and some cheap stickers. I will be writing the names of the people to presents belong to on the back of each tag. I will also be adding ribbon to the top.

My thoughts: Maybe grandma and grandpa will want to reuse them from ornaments.  Grin

After posting last I went to your blog. Truly amazing. I think I'm in love with Junker Jane (and with you now). I reposted your Junker Jane blog on my blog to share (of course with all the links going back to you). I think you have inspired me to go "Junker Jane" style and maybe even join the swap!

Like I said, truly amazing!
