I was thinking of making a poppet with flannel but fusing it to a thin felt for stability. Don't know how well that would work but I might eventually try it.

I got my awesome package today! Grin

Behold! A Dark Brotherhood tote! Big enough for essentials but not so big that I'm tempted to pack it full of unnecessary things:

In honor of the Prince of Madness, a shirt with "Cheese for everyone!" written in Daedric script:

Thank you, thank you, thank you happylittleclam! ♥♥

It won't melt the doll's face, just distort it. Acetone makes vinyl shrink up if left on too long. But the plastic body, on the other hand, WILL melt if put in contact with it. I grabbed the acetone polish remover instead of the non-acetone to wipe the yin-yang tattoo off Jackson's back and it melted the plastic a little.

Still slowly poking away on my doll. I could probably make her a shirt easily but I'm trying to get her pants out of the way first. These dolls are cute but they've got odd bodies! Tongue

Time to go remake it!

Yes, I went outside. So glad I got it done before it got too cold!
Oh! And remember to wash the area with baking soda and warm water to neutralize the acetone! I've been told acetone can warp the dolls' faces. Never soak a head in acetone, either, as I've been told it will shrink the head! Though I suppose if you had just some heads floating around you could shrink them for interesting props.

bunny1kenobi, those balls of wool are so cute! They'd make awesome props for dolls. Or for a shadow box. I love tiny cute things!
