Project Name: The Headless Horseman Rides
"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is one of my favorite stories and the Headless Horseman is loosely based upon a being from Irish myth known as the Dullahan, a type of Unseelie. The biggest, and most obvious difference, is that unlike the Dullahan, who typically carries his/her head, the Headless Horseman doesn't have his and searches for it.

The horse's head is a bit big and the Horseman looks a bit derpy because he's disproportionate. This is why I need the practice Tongue Also, since his steed is supposed to be running, he should be leaned forward a bit more so he doesn't fall off.

Love your tasks chart, Tanath. I need to make myself something like that to keep myself on task.
craftADDchick, great use of a storage bag. I can't ever get my sheets back into them, either. Good to know I'm not the only one Smiley
Smeddley, that's a great drawing Cheesy For the record, I thought the little scribble was a cashew. But I'm a bit hungry right now and I love cashews.

Project Name: Making Faces
I haven't drawn much in the past couple years or so. But I recently adopted two characters from someone on DeviantArt and those characters have inspired me to make a mini comic series. The comics are going to involve monsters of various myths and movies living in a castle-turned-apartments (they rent rooms). So, for practice, I drew these five faces. Two of the faces are the same character but different forms.

My handwriting is a bit fuzzy so the characters are, from top right, clockwise: Rafe Cross (human form), Rafe Cross (wolfman form), Dr. Pretorius (yes, that Pretorius; he's the castle's head of management), Aurora "Rori" Knight (zombie girl), and the Headless Horseman (headless headshot!) Clearly, I need more practice but I think these are pretty good, considering I'm out of practice Smiley

Nice mop cover, Ludi!
I need to make some mop covers for our little mop thingy (technical term). Or maybe I'll make some little booties and use my feet because I tend to dance around as I clean! Grin

craftADDchick, that's a cute necklace Cheesy I love that you used actual Trivial Pursuit bits for it Smiley

Ooh! Yay! Cheesy

I'm wanting to make a mini comic series about a castle with rooms rented by various monsters from myths and movies. I decided Dr. Pretorius should be the manager of said establishment. So I drew my own interpretation of him, which I want to improve upon for a hoop.

I need to practice drawing age lines and hands. His visible hand is waayy too small! But I like his nose Smiley

Hmm, it looks as if he's just hidden something from the camera.
That book has some really great works in it. I especially like the needlework on upholstery. Such a wonderful way to give furniture life Cheesy

I was trying to find a biography for him besides the very short and very limited one given on Wikipedia and a couple other sites. It seems he's largely ignored, which is sad.
Now I have a strong urge to go watch The Bride of Frankenstein...
