I've met the sort of people who think that Link's name is Zelda. Roll Eyes

I bought a baby naming book a few years ago to aid me in naming characters when I write. In the girls' name section, it has Zelda. It says Zelda is a girls' name but that it's the name of the red haired male protagonist in the games of the same name. **facepalm** Yes, Zelda has red hair in some of her incarnations but she is most definitely not the hero but the one being rescued.

I love the panda too.  Grin  I was so excited when I remembered I had all these Asian style stamps, and since pandas like bamboo, I figured that would be the perfect thing to stamp that page with.  I'm pretty sure it's a koi.  it would make sense.

I KNOW!!!  the bowl is making me hungry from some ramen noodles or yakisoba.  heck, I could even go for some rice noodles (not my favorite, but they'll do in a pinch).  by the way, it's hard to tell thanks to the flash, but the bowl was cut from a Japanese recipe taken from a Japanese cooking magazine...I think.  Cheesy  I'm assuming because they came from alwaysinmyroom and there were ads and recipes all over the color photo pages.  Tongue

I have a lot of plushie pandas from when I was a kid.
Koi are a symbol of wealth in Japan (I think it was wealth).

Mmm, noodles. I love that you used a recipe to make your bowl.

Kittykill, I like the tiki idea and the fact that you decorate your mantel for every holiday.

Alteredmommy, I haven't been junking in a while. I used to go all the time with my grandma though.

I'm so glad my tutorial is easy to understand. I hate looking for a tutorial and finding ones that make things out to be harder than they are.

I don't know. Heck, I know people that don't play videogames who know Link just from commercials for the games.
My dad even knows who Link is and he has only played Mario for NES and SNES.

You gals are so full of information and new ways to use everyday items! I  had no idea that hair was easily available!  Thanks!
When you live sixty miles from the nearest craft store, you learn to improvise.

It's stunning. I love them all but the panda is my favorite. I love pandas. And the koi is gorgeous (it is koi, isn't it?)
My only complaint is the bowl. It makes me hungry. Grin

I would've counted it as a large because I'm not that fast. I would have taken hours.
I am in LOVE with the Link hat.
I was a bit sad that one of my coworkers thought it was Dopey's hat. **facepalm**
When I corrected her, she said "Who's Link? Is he one of Santa's elves in a cartoon?"
