My little assassin has changed jobs. Or at least, her uniform. Instead of finishing up the black one and trying to repaint a pair of MH boots, I'm making her outfit based on the Thieves' Guild armor. I decided to do this because I have some brown fabric that matches the brown of Cerise Hood's boots; MH and EAH dolls' shoes are interchangeable. Plus, Cerise has this awesome belt that looks a bit like the one on the Thieves' armor.

I'm in good company with the other awesome Nerds of the Week Grin I'm really proud of little Pyramid Head because he was such a pain but he was definitely worth it! I showed my friend the pics and she was amazed by his cuteness, saying she just knows her son will love having his own Pyramid Head.
I said it before but I must say it again: I am smitten with pishaw13's bobble stitch jumper <3
I can't wrap my head around HOW I missed cryssoleil's amazing little dragon Huh

calliemae, that afghan is pretty and VERY pink indeed. I especially love the striped squares <3

Silvermoon, I'm in love with that little Skyrim weaving <3

Cool Pyramidhead FreakieGeekie - how big is it?

I can't find a ruler so I'm not 100% sure.  Huh But I do know he's taller than my male MH dolls by an inch or two. So around 12" or 13".
carolmb, I really love that quilt! I need to start figuring out the dimensions and layout for my own quilt.

heheh Who knew PH's could be so cute and cuddly!

My friend had the same reaction when she saw the pics of him Grin

Thats so awesome! I use beans to weight my plushies feet and tushies.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. Roll Eyes I used Morning Glory Premium Polyfil, which make projects a bit firmer. Usually when I use it, they have no problems free-standing. But I didn't take into account the fact that PH's head would likely make him topple since it's not really centered.

Beans are a great idea! I have used raw rice before, too. But with the itsy bitsy slobber puss kids, that does not work well. It won't hurt them...it just turns into concrete  Roll Eyes My dolls were fabric for this. Rice would sneak out of crochet, I am sure.

I don't know the story behind this crazy looking doll. But it is interesting all the same.

Ah but if you were to sew it into a small pouch and put the pouch in the feet you wouldn't have to worry  Wink And he's not at the "slobber puss"/"I must chew all the things" stage.

Pyramid Head is one of the monsters in the Silent Hill horror game series.

I thought about putting sand but he's meant to be played with, too, and I wasn't sure how well that would hold up. My amis his size typically stand on their own without sand or such but his head makes him a bit awkward. I should have made his feet bigger.

artsycandice, I'm in love with that stump! It's so cute! Cheesy

Pyramid Head drags around this huge sword, aka Great Knife, and as he drags it, it makes an eerie scraping sound that warns of his approach. So if you hear an unexplained scraping sound in the dark, it may be Pyramid Head out to get you.

One of my lovely friends over on DeviantArt was kind enough to send me the Hunger Games series because she had an extra set. I figured that it was only fair that I make something for her in return. Instead, she asked that I make something for her son: a Pyramid Head. So I dug around in my stash and found colors as close to PH's as possible and this is what I got:

Little PH stands on his own but only if he's holding his Great Knife because of his head. There are pipe cleaners in his fingers so that he can hold his Great Knife. However, his fingers aren't quite long enough for a good grip so I'm going to go back and add a strap to the sword handle so that it won't slip from his grasp.
I made him from my own pattern and his hands were a struggle. My sister found a tutorial for crocheting fingers on amigurumitogo.com after I finished. Tongue

This little guy is LONG overdue so sometime soon he will be packed up and shipped off to his new home.

I stay away for ONE day and a whole lot of awesome happens! Shocked

I'm loving pinokeeo's spoon but all of her stuff fascinates me. I love wood carvings and hope to add that to my skill set someday.
