The funny thing is he now won't even touch ANY of my craft supplies.

I've had a bit of a set back on my flowers. Do I get to count the hours spent cutting out petals that were accidentally tossed out? Sad
I had a stack of petals on my little craft table next to a pile of scraps and my fiance, trying to help keep my space clean, tossed it all out, not realizing that some of it was petals. Before I realized they were in the trash, food stuff got tossed on top.  Cry

I have a few more flowers made (a dozen in total) but I'm just so bummed about losing all those petals (and all those cards I cut up).

I've set my flowers aside and picked up some crochet to cope.

The grasping/reaching one is definitely better for Halloween. I recently saw where someone had tried to reshape/remold Ghoulia's hands with a heat gun (I think that's what they used?) and it didn't turn out very well. If Howleen wasn't a little sister type, you could just swap out the hands but since she's a little sister, her hands are much too small.

I don't have much crafting time these days so what little I can get between now and December 17th will be used to craft things for my wedding.
The first thing on my list is my bouquet, which I'll be doing as a research project.

Research Project Name: Magic-al Bouquet
Team: Fandom
Brief Description: As I said, my fiance and I are getting married December 17th and 99% of our decorations will be DIY, made by myself, my mom, my aunt, and a couple of cousins. The first thing on my list of things to do is my bouquet.
Since my fiance and I are getting married at our local card/comic shop (owner is a friend and offered up his backroom FREE!), we decided to go with Magic: The Gathering as our theme instead of the previous theme of The Nightmare Before Christmas (thank goodness I'm a procrastinator and don't already have decorations made in that theme!) Since we have loads of spare mana cards, I decided that I would some of them to make my bouquet.
I made a couple of flowers, to test my ability to make them, and it took me about an hour each to make those two flowers, which included time spent cutting the petals, arranging them, and attaching them to buttons that had floral wire looped through them. The one with the Swamp (skull) in the center had the skull replaced with a different image.

I have a big time project to turn in: I crocheted 19 preemie hats to give to the NICU at the hospital where I had my baby plus two for a friend whose baby was born prematurely. I made them last weekend while my parents kept the baby but I've yet to take pics Tongue

FreakieGeekie, your cousin's son should be very happy with such a fun hat. How old is your baby now?

He looooves all things Mario so it will definitely be a hit Cheesy I love making stuff for kids. Especially him because he loves *anything* I make.
My little froggy is five months now. He's trying to sit up now and anything he gets in his hand(s) goes straight to his mouth. Heck, even if he doesn't get it in his hands he'll try to eat things. He tries to chew his dada's watch all the time! Roll Eyes

Haha, Freakie!  Lana has declared herself a Slytherin.  Smiley

I declared myself a Slytherin (I *adore* emerald green) then years later I took the Pottermore quiz and was put there so I feel it was meant to be <3

I'm going to try to join the Fall Nerd Battles. It's hard to craft with a munchkin who tries to eat my supplies if I'm holding him Tongue But I'm trying to sleep train him so that he goes to bed at a decent hour (sleep regression is awful) and if that works, I'll craft an hour or two while he sleeps at night.
