St. Patrick's Day is Monday so I had to make one of these:

I made my own pattern; here's the link

Challenge: March - Luck of the Irish
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: Engineering (pattern found in project link)
Project Name: Crocheted luck charm
Project Page Link: here
I love four-leaf clovers and have picked quite a few over the years which I pressed in books. But I would always lose them. So I decided to make one this year. My sister wanted one on a hair clip so I found a clip in my stash and sewed it on. The clip is one from Hobby Lobby that has holes for attaching things. I'll be making more of these for sure Cheesy

Battle Royale: March- UFO sighting
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: Yellow (well, gold) eyes, collar and belt buckle (which took longer than it should have)
Project Name: Little Cicero
Project Page Link: here
I actually started on him Feb 28th and was finished with him by March 4th. I just couldn't find the buttons I wanted to use for his eyes. Then when I found the buttons, I didn't like how they looked so I decided to stitch his eyes instead. In game, they appear to be a golden brown sort of color (or at least on my tv they do but my tv has issues).

Sorry to hear your top is now a vest, Renstar. But at least it could still be used Smiley

Here's my little Cicero amigurumi:

He has his own thread here.

95  Little Cicero in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by FreakieGeekie on: March 14, 2014 04:59:57 PM
Ever since I found Cicero in Skyrim he has been my favorite NPC. I can't help it: I love redheads, jesters, and nutters and he's all that rolled into one Grin
So I had to make myself an ami of him to sit atop my dresser. He doesn't look exactly like Cicero does in game but I like him and that's all that matters Tongue

I made him using a pattern I loosely based on this one.
His hat was a pain to make but I love it. I like flipping up the tails on it so that he looks like a bunny. I can't help thinking the "real" Cicero would find this amusing because he likes carrots Grin

97  Chibi Lunatic (Cicero) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by FreakieGeekie on: February 24, 2014 03:53:08 AM
I've been playing Skyrim a lot lately instead of crafting.
I can't help it! I can't resist the call of caves and dungeons packed with dangerous traps, deadly enemies, and treasures untold! Grin
And as any good adventurer will tell you, it's often more fun to go on a journey with a companion. Even if your companion has the personality of a rock, they're good to have because they can help you carry loot.
I have found a favorite among those available as companions. Meet Cicero! He's the completely loony member of the Dark Brotherhood who likes to dress as a jester. I love jesters so he is with me always. It doesn't hurt that he can't die, either!

Cicero was sketched in pencil then colored with Prismacolor Premiers.

Challenge: Talk Nerdy to Me
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Chibi Lunatic Cicero
I love the word lunatic but I rarely see it used anywhere. The word "lunatic" comes from the belief that the moon's cycles affected people's sanity, especially a full moon. Cicero, a member of Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood is definitely a lunatic. He refers to himself in the third person and often, when adventuring with your Dragonborn, he thinks he sees a dwarf when there really isn't one there. Roll Eyes

Please excuse that reddish orange smudge: I dropped a heavily flavored chip on it! Roll Eyes

Though it's only February, I've already decided on my Halloween costume for this year. I was going to go with the idea I had for the costume that never was last year but I had a better idea.

Ta-da! My 11th Doctor inspired costume! Grin
It's not in color because I haven't decided on the colors yet (except for the fez). I'm leaning toward a light blue shirt and black skirt though. The bow tie, boots and suspenders will be bought. Unless I can find a bow tie pattern.

Eep! I need to really get moving! I keep seeing more and more pretty things everyday!

I haven't done stamp carving since high school. But my sister wants me to take it up again so I can make a Tardis stamp Grin

My partner said she received in the OPS but she hasn't posted pics. So here's the pics, with the exception of one item that I don't seem to have a pic for:
Cute little play envelopes for her little girl. They're lined with felt for stability and have velcro closures.

Three bear mug rugs (one for Breegy, her bf, and their daughter). They're made of a soft flannel but aren't quilted since I couldn't find my little bit of batting.
