EdelC, I'm loving your paintings but especially the Halloween one! I'm especially impressed that it's in oils because, as bunny said, they're a pain to work with Tongue

Prompt: RED ALERT! - Mad Hatter Day
Team: Fandom
Bonus Points: UFO
Project Name: Raggedy Ann and Andy hats
One of my friends asked me to make these hats for her kids as a part of their Halloween costumes. I had the Andy hat (smaller) made at the end of August and 1/3 of the Ann hat but I was sleeping more than crafting so they just sat on the shelf in my craft room, waiting for me.
They're made from a basic beanie pattern but are worked in the loop stitch instead of single crochet. It's not perfectly visible here, but the Raggedy Ann hat has her signature yarn "bow" on the top.
In hindsight, it probably would have been quicker and easier if I had used this Cabbage Patch Doll inspired hat pattern from Repeat Crafter Me, which I may do in the future because I have a friend who is on the fence about a CPK costume for her munchkin.

I finished these up a few days ago but never got around to posting them Tongue
It's Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy hats for a friend's kids. The bigger one with the yarn "bow" is Raggedy Ann.

It's just a basic beanie worked in the loop stitch.

Project Name: Halloween hair clip
I went to Michael's today and found some cute skull-themed cabochans on sale and a cute Halloween themed hair bow. I hot glued one of the cabochans to the center of the bow to give it more character.

My latest project was super easy: I bought a cute Halloween hair bow clip at Michael's and some cute skull-themed cabochans. I hot glued one of the cabochans to the center of the bow to give it a little extra something.

Prompt: September - Isis/Osiris
Team: Fandom
Project Name: A Skeleton's Best Friend
Osiris is the god of the dead and Zero, being a ghost dog, is most definitely dead. I made Zero from this pattern from Ravelry then made a triangle for his body. I also gave him an orange nose, instead of the red the pattern called for, because his nose is a jack o'lantern.

My own little Zero decoration:

I made his head using this pattern from Ravelry then made a triangle for his body. I also gave him an orange nose, instead of the red, like the pattern called for, because his nose is a jack o'lantern.

Prompt: July - Orion Nebula
Team: Fandom
Event: Yarnology
Project Link: [soon]
Project Name: Crocheted baby sandals
While looking for images of nebulae, I found an image of the Bubble Nebula, which is full of lovely shades of purple. I was recently invited to a baby shower by one of my boyfriend's friends who is giving one for his fiancee. It's their first baby and a girl so I thought a soft purple would be the perfect color choice. And to imitate the stars in the nebula, the buttons are glittery (not sure you can see the in the photos).

Please excuse my toes down there! Lol

Made these for my boyfriend's friend whose fiancee is pregnant with their first child:

I made them with a pattern I found on Ravelry. The buttons are clear glittery ones from Walmart.

Haven't been doing too much crafting lately Tongue I've been cleaning house and helping my boyfriend to organize all of our Magic cards. We've got about 1/3 of the cards organized by color, so far.
But I've been doing a bit of cooking:

The mashed potatoes were made using the same recipe as the stewed potatoes: all I did was mash them with a serving fork since I don't have a masher Smiley The recipe can be found here and is based on a recipe my grandma used when I was growing up. I say "based on" because it's pulled from memory and I'm not 100% sure that it's accurate, partly due to my grandma not measuring; I don't either unless I'm following a set recipe.
