WIP of my Monster High Create-A-Monster doll. She was a werewolf, now she's a dark elf:

I got it off!
It was a happy accident: I had started to paint her face with water diluted acrylics but had it a little too thick. So I tried to scrub it off with a mild soap and toothbrush. It still didn't want to come off so I grabbed my acetone nail polish remover and set to work scrubbing her face with a cotton ball. A few minutes later and voila! Her face was clean!

Class: Alchemy
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Amber's Chicken Pasta
Brief Description: I am a whiz of a witch when it comes to cooking and I love to come up with my own concoctions. This dish is very simple: whole wheat pasta, pasta sauce (preferably homemade but I used store bought for this one), chicken breast, fresh parmesan (or the cheap, if you prefer), fresh mozzarella (or shredded), and a pinch of red pepper flakes (totally optional: I like a bit of heat; you could also use fresh cayenne, if you'd like). (Note: I prepared this on Friday but didn't get a picture so I've used an old photo that I had on my phone.)

104  Monster High CAM make-up mess up *Now fixed plus how I did it!* in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions by FreakieGeekie on: March 01, 2013 09:35:55 PM
So while removing my MH CAM werewolf girl's make-up I slipped up and smeared it terribly (her ears are like that because she's going to be an elf).

I have tried acetone nail polish remover but it only took off a little. I even soaked her face in "Dawn overnight soaking power with bleach alternative" for five minutes then scrubbed her face with a toothbrush. That took off a bit more but soaking it a second time didn't take off any more of it.
Can she be salvaged or did I just ruin her?
I have seen where customizers have used paint to change a doll's skin tone but can't find out what sort. I had a friend tell me that she read some dollers use acrylics mixed with mod podge but would that really work for the whole body or only the head?
Any help would be appreciated.

Here's the secret to painting a MH doll's nails:

See, I wrap tiny strips of masking tape around her fingers so that I don't have to worry if my hand is unsteady. If I smear it where it shouldn't be, it goes on the tape instead and the tape comes off later so it's okay!

I know how you feel. spring is my enemy because of allergies but I adore summer.

Here's an in progress shot of the vamp girl's nails:

The nail polish is Love My Nails Red Raven. I took the masking tape off the other fingers so it wasn't in the way.

I made a bracelet for my sister's Monster High Create-A-Monster vampire girl using seed beads and stretch cord. I had to pop her hand off to get it on but it's still cute.

And of course she wanted a necklace to match.

I have no idea why I didn't post these projects sooner. I guess I didn't want to count them 'cause I had them done before I joined. Whatever. Here they are:

An Eeyore hoopla I made for my coworker's birthday in January. She was in love with it and showed it off to everyone.

A scarf I made for the Snape plushie I'm working on.

This was made earlier this month for the HPC. I love roses and purple so I made this out of purple felt, something I have in abundance.

A doll outfit I made for pattern drafting practice.

A mini poppet I made for the Labyrinth swap last month. He has a keyring attached to his head.

Earrings that went to my Labyrinth swap partner along with Jareth.

Challenge: Horcrux Hunt- Hufflepuff's Cup
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Tell me what you see
Brief Description: I love optical illusions and decided to try my hand at drawing one I'd seen many times. After rage quitting several times, I finally got it down. Do you see faces? Or do you see a chalice?
