Another amazing watsonc7 package! How much fun is that loot!? Love those super hero masks - my twenty year old would probably still wear them! Sew cute wall art! :-)
I received a timely package from the talented texscrapper yesterday! Our beloved Boston Red Sox won the World Series in six on Wednesday evening, and we were still riding high when these lovely goodies arrived Thursday afternoon:
Isn't that the most adorable onesie ever??? (Okay, so I'm a bit prejudiced!) And how cool is that burp cloth - backed with adorable baseball fabric!?
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, jams & jellies! Yumm! So glad you found an angel, but so sorry that you need to, mama24boyz!
Okay, ever get one of those packages that makes you feel super-spoiled and undeserving? (Duh, of course you have, this IS Craftster after all! )
I received yet another amazing package from watsonc7! She went way above and beyond and I really have to stay on the swap thread so that I can try and catch her and send some spoilage her way as well....here we go:
First up, she claimed me for a Silhouette Cameo cover for my sis-in-law. She wasn't sure it would fit, so I photographed it on my own Cameo so that she can see it fits just perfectly! And the fabric is quite lovely - sadly, the pic doesn't show how vibrant it is:
She also added 'baby stuffs' to the claim! My brother is so excited for this little one, and he has absolutely no idea how spoiled the baby boy is going to be thanks to all the wonderful Craftsters who have crafted lovelies for him! Again, the pics are a bit off, but the colors are vibrant. First up a wonderful baby blanket with a beautiful cotton focus fabric and an amazingly soft minky-like backing. watsonc7 even quilted it together. Just lovely!
And next up, an adorable sunny taggie toy - not only is it soft and tactile, but it also has a jingle bell hidden inside! Way too cute!
And finally, many of you know that our company donates a tree to the St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees each year. This year our theme is Vintage Americana Highway and watsonc7 sent along some beautiful little ornaments for the tree. Lucky for me she also sent along the name of the fabric line - I think I may have to source some for projects of my own!
We decorate the trees the week of Thanksgiving ~ I'll be sure to post a pic of ours so that those of you who have contributed might see your handiwork in context!
Once again, your talent and generosity have blown me away, watsonc7! Thank you so very, very much and I'll be watching for you to pop up on the list!
I love when the gallery starts filling up! Such fun stuff! I happen to be the proud owner of one of Avesthel's shawl pins! They are so lovely. What unique fabrics, LandBBs! And watsonc7, your various talents amaze me!
And as always, I so admire those of you who make such beautiful works from fiber and yarn! I suspect that Minecraft hat is going to be well-loved! Speaking of talented yarnies, I received a lovely package from Sweden! How adorable are these? She even included care instructions and the leftover bits of yarn!
Thank you so much, Annchen! They really are absolutely perfect!
So excited to post these pics! I actually went 'oooooooooooooohhhhh' when I opened this little cutie up tonight! I just adore her! I'm hoping to collect sock monkeys for each of my nieces and nephews for Christmas and mama24boyz claimed me for my first one. I already know which lucky girl will be getting this one! Don't you just love the details - check out those eyelashes and the little flower!!
Thank you mama24boyz, she couldn't be more perfect!
I received a wonderful package from watsonc7 over the weekend! I was lucky enough to be claimed by her twice this round!
First off, a wonderful assortment of phone charger pockets! How cute are these?
And then, she claimed me for a dearly sought quilted/fabric book cover for my mom! Adorable in the requested blues, has a book mark, a velcro closure and a pocket! She made her own pattern - I can't imagine this was easy to pull off. Yippee!
Here is a simple full fuse piece that I put together as a thank you gift for the dear, sweet, patient instructor who suffered through my learning curve on points! It's a modified Ohio Star quilt pattern and is similar in color to the quilt that I made in her class. The quilt is rather bright, but was intended to be so, as it is being gifted to a dear friend who has just started chemo. The platter is 12 x 12.
That's one awesome package of spoilage from Kookaloo! What an adorable model! I also got spoiled this week! redstar sent me an AMAZING package of goodies for my brother's new baby............which we just learned this week will be a boy! I actually received on Thursday, but had unexpected out of town company come in that same day and have been a bit busy ever since. I apologize for the icky photos - snapped in a hurry and in terrible light!
First up, an awesome taggie blankie for the new wee one:
Next, an amazingly generous assortment of flannel backed burp cloths!
And then..............an incredible car seat cover up! These are the coolest! So very, very generous of you, redstar! I love the chevron and I'm so excited to be able to gift this to them!
Goodness, redstar, I just cannot get over how over-the-top generous you were with this claim! Thank you so very much.
It ain't over till it's over............ I am just floored by the kindness and generosity of our lovely LadybugsAndBumblebees!! Seriously, she probably has angel point in heaven! When it looked as though the angel package she sent me had gone astray, SHE CRAFTED ANOTHER PACKAGE! It is just as amazing as the first. This is going to be one seriously spoiled baby ~ this blanket is just as beautiful as the first. I believe the yarn is the same, but the stitch is different. It's lovely! She sent along another mason jar candle and cozy with an led candle, a gorgeous little crochet bowl from my pinterest, some bottle caps she had seen I was collecting and an Americana Ornament for the Festival tree we decorate every year - how thoughtful was that? Barbara, I just can't express how grateful I am!
EDIT to apologize for the terrible picture quality. I think I need to see what's up with my camera - pics have been just horrid lately!
I love those story board sets! I know a couple little kiddos who would love to play with sets like that ~ anyone up to making a set for "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" or "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" or even "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"?
So I simply cannot believe that I haven't posted these pics as of yet - I received a combo swap package from the uber-talented underthemountain some time ago. This package was very special for a number of reasons, not the least of which is this pair of Tree of Life earrings she fashioned for my mother-in-law. There is a lengthy back story to these, but the short version is that they brought my MiL to tears. And utm was kind enough to make me TWO pairs - just in case she ever loses another one!
And as a bonus OHLS item, she sent a pair of earrings fashioned for my sis-in-law! These are just too freaking cool! I couldn't get a great picture of them, but these are made from genuine 38 special shells - how cool is that?
As always, I feel quite special to receive from utm - the girl has mad skills and a huge heart! Thank you!
I've been a bit out of the loop the last little while, and boy did I miss some fun in the gallery! I'm always in awe of those who crochet such delicate work -- just beautiful! And I just adore those mug rugs, and how cool are those wood burned spoons? But, that personalized towel set - just AWESOME! What a thoughtful idea given the situation! I'm sure she'll treasure them.
And now..............I got some beauties in the mail this week. First up, I'm just blown away by this absolutely gorgeous bag from A2K! Love, love, love, LOVE this! Not much to say, the pictures will speak for themselves! Okay, admittedly the photo quality is not great, but the awesomeness of the bag just shines through anyway:
And as if that weren't happy enough for one day, I got some MEGA baby love in the mail from Averia! I had a portable baby changing pad on my list for my future niece/nephew. My baby brother is having his first little one, so I'm trying to collect lots of love for them. Averia came through BIG TIME. Not one, but two GORGEOUS pads AND a package of Huggies wipes. I love the idea of these, because you can toss a diaper or two and a portable wipe package right in and then throw them in a mama bag when on a quick errand or the like. And the spoilage of two? Well, that's just perfect because I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many little bums I've seen changed in the back of a dad's car, and even on the hood! It'll be just perfect for them to keep one in dad's ride for those times! Again, I apologize for the photo quality, but they are pretty darn sweet:
Thank you, ladies! I'm super grateful to have received from you talented gals!
