3  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / MTV's SWEET 16! I made AVA's dress![PIC] on: December 08, 2005 04:41:25 PM
So I made my prom dress..and the year after that a girl requested a dress to be by me....she had a design....which was....

the red dress Ava wore on sweet 16

IF you ever catched the show SWEET 16, you know what dress I am talking about....the original dress Ava tried on was by.....Roberto Cavalli.....<33 i love him..haha..but it was revealing and so she got a dress made by a designer where she lives that covers her up....

We didnt know what fabric to use...so....we went to the huge fabric place we have here in Dallas...and found two fabrics we really wanted...one was black with gold shines on it...and then there was a light blue/greyish with silver shiny lines on it...

and she choose the light blue because everyone else was wearing black and she wanted to stand out..

so heres the pic..

its not the best picture but its the only one saved that I could find..it really looks better in person...she had so many compliements that night..even from my old principal....

the purse matches..it was kind of a last minute thing..with the left over fabric...
