This is beautiful, it really caught my eye.  I was wondering, how many balls of yarn did it take?  Thanks!

Is the magazine issue you found this in still for purchase?  I would love to try my hand at this.

I was wondering the same thing about the scraps.  Did you do a zig zag stich over the edge or something?  Looks great!

I love this!  I think I know what I want to do with all my scraps now.  Did you have a planned layout in mind, or did you just go for it?

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / My camera can't do them justice! on: February 12, 2010 05:05:19 PM
I recently received two marvelous packages from curiousfae and sajona.  I was blown away by both of their craftmanship.

Sajona actually handpainted and embroidered silk!  I have them in the packages still because I just don't want to mess them up.

Curiousfae did wonderfully tiny, sparkly little collages.  They each have so much character, I could spend forever just looking at each one!  My camera had a hard time showing the details and the glitter she so carefully placed.  I am very sad that I don't have a scanner to share a better image with you all.

Thank you both!

Hey there greenline-

You saw it via facebook?  I didn't know you could do that!  How does that all work?

Hm... Alternatives to latex.. they must make some kind of latex free balloon for kids that are allergic, right?  Or maybe you could use a latex-free rubber glove and blow it up and use the non-finger side Smiley
