MY cousin and I have been making our costumes for Halloween for the past 3 years. Fortunately our mates are a good sport. While she goes with her dancing group, my mate and I just go to the local pizza pub to meet up with our locals for a few hours. This year we chose to be pirates...so sewing was a must. I tried to use mostly material on hand but did not make my boot tops, did make the hat.





My mates costume was entirely purchased from different Halloween stores and even Walmart...I tried to keep the cost down as much as possible. I purchased my belt from Deb's clearance and spray painted it gold.



Cousin and her mate! Changed hers to be more dance friendly. Sleeves sewn separate. Vest was purchased and redesigned a bit. His costume totally purchased from different retail stores and put together.
