5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: paisley & fawn wallet on: January 22, 2008 07:41:53 AM
thanks again everyone! so glad you like it as much as i do  Smiley

Cool wallet .. great details.  Did you wing it or use a pattern or tutorial?  I love how you got it so thin!  Most of the tute's I've seen for this type of wallet are all thick and chunky at the end.  Kudos

i pretty much winged it cos most of the tutes have way too many pockets for cards i do not own. lol. the ends are thin because not all the layers are folded into the basic lining... if that makes any sense...

still can't get over my black iridescent paisley cloth which i already used to make a mini duffle http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204302.msg2179654#msg2179654 and a LBD... so i made a wallet with it!!!

nice?!
i actually wanted the center part to be black satin but i couldn't find any so i made do with some cheap cloth i bought for lining... the fawn is an earring attached backwards with wire ( the front part has lotsa colours ). i love how the wire blends into the fawn and is hardly visible Smiley
the inside lining is some cloth i bought for really cheap.. which i love for it's colour and the fact that it doesn't really fray (i don't have a serger) but hate the 'novespazio's all over it... no idea what brand it is or why it's there.
