1  paisley & fawn wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bubblegum on: January 21, 2008 11:40:20 AM
still can't get over my black iridescent paisley cloth which i already used to make a mini duffle http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204302.msg2179654#msg2179654 and a LBD... so i made a wallet with it!!!

i actually wanted the center part to be black satin but i couldn't find any so i made do with some cheap cloth i bought for lining... the fawn is an earring attached backwards with wire ( the front part has lotsa colours ). i love how the wire blends into the fawn and is hardly visible Smiley
the inside lining is some cloth i bought for really cheap.. which i love for it's colour and the fact that it doesn't really fray (i don't have a serger) but hate the 'novespazio's all over it... no idea what brand it is or why it's there.

embroidered on the corner is my name n a fat heart
i'm so proud of the zip! lol

with stuff inside...i'm so broke Smiley

its really really thin... just the way i like it.

... n that's all.... tell me what you think about it k? thanks!

2  uber mini duffle bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bubblegum on: October 27, 2007 12:21:59 AM
inspired by the mini duffle bags by Lia,
i made my own set for my friends' birthdays
except they're way smaller, so they can keep little trinkets or keys or candies or whatever.

here's the first ever,
made from black paisley

and yes, i did use that big piece of junk in the background to put it together  Wink

here's a closeup

not perfect, i know.

duffle no. 2 & 3
almost identical duffles made for identical twins with their initials embroidered on it and stuffed with M&Ms (their favourite)
its brown with gold accented straps which are actually bias tape, hence the fraying ribbons. lol

all 3 of them are relatively the same size, but not exactly... because i don't fancy rulers and measuring things. Grin

hope you like them and tell me what you think ok?

i loosely followed this tutorial

and because so many people love my antique wonder...

amazing right?  Cheesy

Well, i know i like it! It's following me everywhere now(except school).
