437  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Half a boiled egg? on: January 17, 2008 10:29:46 AM
I'm making some felt food for my little one and the tuts on here have been fantastic, thank you all.  But I can't figure out how to make half a boiled egg.  I tried cutting out a round piece of fabric and then pulling it into a cupped shape with thread but that didn't work at all.  Any suggestions?

My little one does that too.  I don't mind very much though as I figure she can't swallow it and the felt won't hurt her.  I just cross my fingers that its all dye-fast.  LOL

I made two very different christening dresses.
First is 100% cotton including the lace and has a slip and bonnet.

The other is a recycled wedding dress that also comes with a bonnet.

Both are listed at $50 and I've had lots of views but no one wants to buy them.  Are they ugly?  Is the demand just not there?  Should I take different pictures?  Lower the price?  Please honest opinions wanted.
