wow. how much am i LOVING the flames and guns... as a little girl i slept on embroidered pillowcases all the time.   they also had crocheted (?) egding... i LOVE these!!!  

and Days of the Week kitchen towels are just begging to be made.

you know, if you're just begging to crochet it's wonderful to get a HUGE crochet hook and use 4 strands of yarn as one...  your scarf will go so quickly!   For fun i usually use 4 strands of similar colors, that way you wouldn't even have to worry about changing colors at the end of rows.

for example, i made the throw below in just 3 nights using 4 yarns as one.   if you like to finish things QUICKLY before you get bored with them like i do, it's a great technique.
