I recently made a pumpkin for Halloween, I will share the steps of how to make it here:

To make it you will need to cut strips of burlap that are about two to three inches in width - I used jute webbing (upholstery webbing) with black stripes, but you can pretty much use any color you want. The stripes do help to add a little bit of a uniqueness to the pumpkin and make it less bland. Regular burlap will have a jute-ish color, and while that is sometimes very appealing, you may want a different look (you can also go for orange burlap).



You will be sewing the pieces together together to make a sort of sack, you will then fill it with beans and then finish it up with orange yarn

Some really quick instructions: cut out the shape you want, glue the corners, sew along the edges using white netting and then yellow stitching (or whatever color you choose) to go around the border

These are really easy to make, take only about 10-30 minutes, and the project is no sew and requires no glue so it is quite simple and clean and great to do even with children. Supplies needed are just fabric, fabric with flower patterns and burlap along with wire and beads.

Instructions are to cut out a flower shape from the patterned fabric and then cut out flower shapes a little larger from the fabric and burlap. String them onto a wire and then twist the two ends together to create a stem.
