1  Finished Christmas Presents (swear words inside) in Needlework: Completed Projects by Robin Sparkles on: November 15, 2012 05:41:01 AM
This year I decided I would cross stitch Christmas presents for my friends and family (I'm going to start embroidering some now, too!) Here are the ones I have finished:

These are my first cross stitching projects, and I got a few patterns from subversive cross stitch, and a few from other places online. I had the frames left over from Ikea, from a project I wanted to do a few years ago, but they worked perfectly for these. I painted them colours that I thought matched with the project inside!

2  My first embroidered FO in Needlework: Completed Projects by Robin Sparkles on: November 09, 2012 04:29:15 PM
Hello! This is my first post here Smiley

I started this kind of needlework recently after a friend got interested in it, normally I do cross stitch. This is the first project I did, a christmas tree on a tea towel! I took it from this website: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2012/11/02/sketchy-christmas-tea-towel-tutorial/

I don't have an iron, so it gets to stay wrinkly for now :p

I really like how it turned out!
